I am a Steelers fan..but a gambler second...I put my money on the Pats.. I had that sinking feeling when I placed my bet..I was going to take the Jets.. I was mad at myself about two minutes into the game. Gotta learn to trust my gut again.
lots of big buildings in vegas going against where the money is heading.... today was one of those instances. new orleans v. seattle last week was also... this AFCC is a tougher bet. wonder what the NFC spread is
I think that 3.5 is a pretty appropriate line. Yeah the Jets beat Pittsburgh earlier this year, but the Steelers are healthier now and they do have homefield advantage. In any case I'm betting on the Jets, but I'm afraid that it won't be easy money like the Jets covering 8.5 was.
Packers are unstoppable. They are better than the Bears on both sides of the ball. They almost beat the Pats in NE with a backup QB that never started a game before in his life..other than at LSU. Aaron Rodgers is on fire, and they have the best receivers in the league. It's hard for me to say this, but I think the Pack is going to go all of the way.
If the Packers win the NFC it will actually be a good Super Bowl no matter who wins the AFC. If the Bears make it, the AFC will win with no problems.
I think that people are really sleeping on Chicago. They're well rounded and peaking at the right time, plus they've got a lot of experience going against this Packers team. Green Bay may be more talented than the Bears, but that doesn't mean that they can go into Chicago and knock them off on the road.
