With Brad 'questionable' for the game, Rex says he may save Brad for the wildcat and use 'others' for returning kicks.

God i hope Brad can at least play the wildcat. Even then we may see him throwing it, handing it off to Greene, or pitching it out to LT more than running it himself.

This may be the time for another 60 yard bomb to Cotchery of Keller.

That sucks, but I think he'll be ready to go - he is also playing for a contract. The O and special teams need a healthy Brad Smith. While Cromartie had the big play last week, I am concerned about him protecting the ball during kick returns.

Any thoughts on seeing LT run the wildcat?

i know LT can pass it pretty good....seen it in a bunch of hightlite vids. Haven't sceen it with the jets though. throwing the ball is not a requirement of the wildcat, BUT the real threat of Brad tossing it is a big part of why his runs are so spectacular.

Why do teams still even try the Wild Cat? It's like a bad joke now. Have the Jets even passed from it a single time this season?

More worried about who is returning kicks more so than who is running the Wildcat. If all goes to play we'll be seeing the KR for the Jets alot more! :)

WHY IS SUNDAY TAKING TO SO LONG TO GET HERE. This sucks. I need a time machine.

As long as santonio isnt returning anything im ok with saving smith for wildcat. He has been less than stellar protecting the ball

Maybe cus it seems like everytime smith keeps the ball he gets at least 8 yards and eventually he might just throw one.

I wouldnt be suprised to see LT throw one to really catch them off guard. He did it for the chargers, why not for us?

one benefit of the wildcat is while brad smith is under center, sanchez is standing next to his coaches getting 1/1 direction for the upcoming play. something you cant get through a head set.

just curious if anyone has payed attention: on the next play AFTER a wildcat play, how has sanchez done?

He's busted a few big plays with it.

The Indy coach said last week that they had to spend an entire day of practice and a lot of time planning to defend it. That's worth it.

I don't mind Cro returning kickoffs, but if he gets injured on a return, we are SCREWED!

Running the wildcat midway through a successful series is an excellent way of totally disrupting Sanchez's rhythm if he's actually completing passes. Can't imagine why the Jets should even be considering it.
