Please, take a few seconds to see what threads already exist before making a new one. Chances are that someone else has already had the same or a similar thought and started a thread.
I just want to reiterate the sentiments of this thread. There have been numerous duplicate threads created in the past 24 hours. Like I said before, chances are someone already created a thread with the same idea, so check before creating a new one.
Oh, and please don't try to be funny with comments like "I think I need to take a shit" or "I like beer" responding to posts. If any of these comments were remotely creative, funny, or productive, we'd let them go. But instead, they just serve as ways to say, "LOOK AT ME! I'M AN ATTENTION WHORE! AREN'T I FUNNY? GUYS???? LOLZ." It brings down the board, and it prevents people new to the board from posting legitimate football discussion, just because there's a significant number of people who are too busy trying (and failing) to be funny. Posts like that are nothing more than trolling. And in threads that are multiple pages long, it's a real pain in the ass to read them when you're sifting through dozens of posts which are just trash. If you have nothing to add to a thread, say nothing, and that way the thread will die. Obviously, if it's something outrageous, we give you guys a lot of leeway in hijacking threads, and we won't stop you. But it's been getting out of hand. We let some things go around the holiday season to try and be nice. That's quickly coming to an end.
might wanna also point out that in those threads, if you're one to add those types of comments, it would behoove you to read the thread in its entirety to avoid being bant bc you missed some mods warning buried under 2 pages of shit.
Yeah it's for people that spam the board make useless posts/threads. In other words it's for posters like you.
