I want to nominate this for the worst cliche to ever become popular. Can somebody explain to me what it even means? First of all, it doesn't make logistical sense....I would love to cash a check somebody wrote for me, lol. Second of all, for what they are TRYING to say, so Rex is making it so that the Jets reeeally need to try hard to put up on the field and win on Sunday...isn't that what coaches are supposed to do???

    WORST EVER!

    Different saying:

RR is "talking the talk", and depending on his players to "walk the walk"

i.e. he is putting the pressure on his players to back up his own statements (not my opinion, just trying to clarify for you)

EDIT: maybe you already understood, and take it to be a good thing? idk... whatever

He had the audacity to say the goal of the NY Jets is to win the SB.
    That bastard.

Well, he said he wants to win the game. He said he wants to win the Super Bowl. He also said he is confident in his team.

I'm confused. Don't all the teams in the NFL want to go to the SuperBowl? I could be wrong but I thought the whole idea of competition is to see whom is the best. IDK. Maybe Buffalo or Carolina's goals are to be .500 but I certainly don't want my team to "strive" for .500. I would like them to win the championship.

    Can someone clarify???

The Bank of SOJ would not cash that check. They never will, even with 5 forms of ID. That bank is so uptight it won't even cash a money order or acknowledge a wire transfer, there's always something wrong at that place.

I think a coach is supposed to make his team put up on the field; but the coach also has to be realistic about his team and realize that when there are flaws, you shouldn't say that "a better game plan, will make them play better." That is the problem with Rex. On Monday he said it was all about his game plan the reason why the Jets played poorly in the last meeting with the Patriots. That could be the case. But it could also be the case that his team just isn't as good as he might think it is and that the Patriots were just head and shoulders above them. So when Rex says something about his team, and his team doesn't have the ability to prove him right, that is where Rex will be in trouble.

a coach that says what everyone is thinking is creating bulletin board material and being a loudmouth.

    Rex's comments:
    He was out coached
He needs to be better the Bellicheat on Sunday
The Jets need to hit Brady
    OH MY GOD!!!!

Woody Johnson writes a lot of cheques the players can cash. I bet you he'd prefer if they didn't though.

That flawed theory might hold a drop of water if the Jets and Patriots hadn't split the season. Bad coaching and lack of preparation were the 2 main reasons the Jets were beaten so badly that Monday night.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him secretly videotape a gay man wearing Uggs.

You're right. I actually had to rent an industrial printer and printed it on a circus tent. And I hired 50 illegal beaners to do the rubbing. Guinness couldn't make it out this week, though.

Come ON man. we are BETTER than patriots EVERYWHERE except QB. Brady hasn't been roughed up this year too so once we get a few sacks, the QB position will be evened out.

I'm sensing a Jets BLOW OUT. Will bump my posts after the win.
