Say what? That is a ton of money for Cro... he's much more in the 4-5 mill range imo...

Now that Brad Smith is gimpy as long as Cromartie can return a Kickoff I say we at least give him a ride to the airport at the end of the season

The Jets have to hope Wilson comes on next year. Cro is not Rex's kind of corner. The guy's strategy is to hold the WR until he catches the ball. Then he lets someone else tackle him...

Now that Asomugha's contract got it's last year cutoff, Revis, Cro, and any other shit hot corner will have a lower ceiling for their demands. Hopefully, that makes Cro more than a one year rental, as well as sets up a makeover of Revis' band-aid contract. All of this, of course, comes after Tanny works his magic with the new CBA.

I honestly think we're gonna end up getting to keep more of our players then people think. The new CBA, obviously still up in the air all around, is going to end up leveling out these contracts, and put a ton more money in the owners pockets. The cap will go up, maybe even go soft, and Woody/Tanny/Rex will make it work to ensure we get and keep the pieces we need.

My only regret for Sundays game is that when we spank Brady and his underlings at home, it won't snap Bieber Sr.'s "(regular season) Home Game Winning Streak". All said, even if its a second round pick for #31, so long as we keep him, and get him another year in this system, it's worth it. I hope Cro gets a pick-six on Mr. Perfect!

On a preposterous sidenote, if Aso is a UFA, could we sign him and use him in the playoffs? Lol

Is there an actual link out there to confirm this or are you just assuming that is what the conditions are to make it a 2nd rounder?

Gary Meyers and Rich Cimini columns from months ago, plus Chargers message board ecstatic over Jets win, too.

    Well we're probably gonna re-sign him and he's a fine #2 corner so I think it's a sound investment

I don't think Kenny King ever won that.
