For his first game back he played lights out. I only caught the second half but Smith was playing great in pass coverage, the run, and was definitely laying some big hits. He was even playing MLB effectively which really helped us when guarding Addai out of the backfield. I think he deserves an equal share of the gameball today
Smith definitely had a good play on the receiver on an incomplete pass by Manning towards the end of the game. Good play by him and Pool on some good tackles for losses near the LOS.
Thank you. I actually logged on looking for this thread. Kid had a great game. Fantastic awareness, coverage... and as usual had some big hits. I'm real worried about the S position... but ES had a great game. For that matter I thought this was one of Poole's better games as well.
