They are playing the Hamilton Tiger Cats at home in Toronto. They lost twice to Hamilton in the preseaspn but that Argos really didn;t show much and were far better than Hamilton last season so there is a good chance that they will dominate. I don't know if there are any radio webcasts from up here that will be playing it. I will post them if I find any.
Do you know if they're playing in Toronto next week beccause im going to be in Ontario. Wow I just reliezed your from Brantford and I have cousins there!
Pretty unfortunate for the Edmonton Eskimos that they kick off their season at 6 pm local time tonight the exact same time the Oilers are hosting game 6 of the Cup Finals ahahah. Will be piss poor ratings for the Esks. Hopefully Ricky plays like garbage all season.
Really eh....who are they...and any idea what their street name is....if I dont know them I would certainly know the street
A couple hours ago(and for the past few hours) I've thought you said "Ricky Williams first regular season CFL game starts at 3" as in he starts 3rd string....now it makes sense.
Sorry, the argos will be in Winnipeg next week.....they play Frida night, but at least you will probably be able to watch it.
I know their last name are either Holik or Choma I dont know the street becuase most of my family is in Simcoe. (its like a good 40 miles away from Brantford)
Not really. Him having an amazing year in the CFL would prove nothing about what he can do in the NFL. However, him sucking ass in the CFL would prove that he's done as an elite NFL runningback which would finally shut the Blowhole fans up...
Even more importantly, it would prove to all the doubters that the CFL is a legitimately talented league that you can't just come to and dominate.
All I am saying is that just because a good NFL player comes to the CFL does not mean that he will run the show, and many people think he will. All my friends and many people that called in to NFL Radio assumed that Ricky would smash the record set by Pinball and that won't happen. There are players on every CFL team that could be on NFL teams right now and it doesn't happen because of the influx of new rookies every season. Most CFL guys play here for a few seasons and make a home somewhere and make friends with teammates and don't want to deal with going back and forth constantly tryin out for different NFL teams. Tim Cheatwood and Joe Montford have both been back and forth and now have made up their minds to stay in the CFL. You can't say the league is not legitimately talented when almost all of the players in it earned a scholarship to university to play football. That's like saying that the guys who play hockey in the Swedish and Russian elite leagues are not legitimately talented because they're not in the NHL.
Some football is better than no football. Hell, I'll even take a bunch of Grandpas playing 'kick the can' at this point. Those b*stards love to cane each other.
