While I think you guy's know my feelings on BS, is it not a little strange that he has not been named as a viable HC candidate? He has called some good games this year especially against the Bears and the Steelers. Could it be he screwed up by not taking the Bills job? What do you guy's think?
There's 32 OCs in the NFL. None of them have been mentioned as possible HC's. I would think that some of the ones on bigger offensive teams with more experience might get mentioned first....
While I agree with this for the most part... he did a pretty good job last year in the playoffs and a large part of that was due to turning to Shonn Greene to be Mr. January. If he does the same thing again this year he may coming out looking a lot better than he did after the regular season.
everyone's talking about harbaugh, that's why. plus, he's not a minority candidate, in which case he'd get a ton of interviews just to fill the rooney rule. once harbaugh picks some place, other guys will get some interviews.
Maybe it's because the season just ended 3 frigging days ago? Just cross your fingers and hope somebody hires him, because he sucks.
1) The Jets are preparing for a road playoff game in 3 days, Schottenheimer doesn't exactly have a ton of free time to go interview. 2) The Jets offense hasn't been very good this year, it's tough to imagine why anyone would be desperate to jump on the Schotty bandwagon right now.
I saw one mention of it as a possibility for SF: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2011/01/05/are-the-49ers-about-to-lose-harbaugh-to-miami-and-7-8m-a-year/
the Walmart Greeters up here are creepy old men who enjoy accosting 20-something broads......basically, Marty Schottenheimer.
Really just Denver and Carolina as oak has a plan in place w/ Hue jackson and Holmgren wants one of his guys in Cleveland. That's not many openings.
