Could be a little hysteria. But any time the word surgery is associated with a Jets QB I get extremely nervous.

It would be a small surgery though... just to re-attach the cartilage to the bone.

They're not going to tell us anything now. Remember the 2004-05 playoffs it was the same thing with Chad, just sore, etc, and he turned out to need major surgery that changed his career. Hopefully not the case here, point being any "information" to come out before the playoffs are over is useless.

Hysteria fits but this deserves it's own name. Chad Pennington Syndrome, maybe?

If he was quoted correctly, then he is definitely having surgery and he knows it but doesn't want to divulge that for some reason. What I don't understand is that Phil Simms was saying during the Bears game that he talked to Sanchez and Sanchez said he didn't know where the rumors came from and it was just sore and that's it. Someone is lying...And it is scary as a Jet fan after watching everything Pennington went through.

Sanchez is possibly going under the knife for the second time in his 2 season pro career. First time was the knee above his plant foot. This time is the throwing shoulder. It's a valid concern.

He'll be alright. He's tough. He's going to have a long, great career in the NFL and more importantly in Green.

Nothing about our possible franchize QB + throwing shoulder surgery works for me. Silly question I know, but could we as a fanbase possibly be THAT unlucky?

Media is doing its best to create some tension. Sanchez looked perfectly fine to me 8 days ago and he should get better IF anything was wrong with him. He wouldn't be attempting a game-day pass in 13 days.

I think this whole thing will just be an awesome excuse for Rex to list Sanchez as probable-shoulder for the next decade plus.

    ................ I can't say faggot in here can I?

Die in a fire you bag of sticks.............

There is quite a difference between having a shoulder reconstructed and cartilage shaved.....

he bounced back from his knee surgery just fine.

this isn't a major procedure on his shoulder. the jets medical stuff and coaching stuff isn't stupid enough to jeopardize sanchez's career

Its Chad Pennington all over again... with even less accuracy.
