Jay Fiedler signs with the Bucs

    Bucs signed QB Jay Fiedler to a one-year contract.
    With Luke McCown likely out for the season, Fiedler should compete with Tim Rattay for the No. 2 QB job. Fiedler started his career under Gruden in Philadelphia and probably has a decided edge if his surgically repaired shoulder holds up. Jun. 29 - 3:07 pm et

    Did they ever come out and fully say what happened to his shoulder? I don't remember them ever releasing the specifics of the injury.

    I thought that he still lived on Long Island, which was a factor in our signing him last offseason.

    It's possible that I made that up though.
