he's been one of my favorite Jets for a long time but this year he has been atrocious as a wide receiver...his best days are behind him and quite frankly i don't want to see him on the team next year.

he couldn't catch a cold today. he sucked.

he had 3 drops, Holmes had the fumble which led to 7 points for the Bears, Keller had the HUGE drop in the endzone which left 4 points on the field for the Jets and ended up being the difference in the game...overall the wide receivers played like dogshit and they need to step the fuck up. its so frustrating seeing Mark Sanchez play his heart out and these assholes cant do their job and catch the god damn ball.

    /end rant.

Yeah , Cotch is the most consistant Returner. Shure hands and has the moves to get the yards.

"Cocherty" is probably not a very good receiver, agreed.

Cotcherys been in a rut, no point in giving up on him.

Not to mention hes not very impressive as a punt returner so I have no interest in seeing him strictly do that. Id rather him just work on improving himself, and well see if he can make some clutch plays down the road.

Its not like we have a better option as our #3 anyway, we all saw Brad Smith drop that 4th down pass that he had 2 hands on.

    WR coach?

*I've never seen Jet receivers dropping this many balls on a consistent basis - to me that means the WR coach is to blame.*

good point. COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT BRAD SMITH'S STONE-HANDS (in his defense tho, the Jets had NO BUSINESS going for it in that situation with a 7 point lead and the ball on their own 40 yard line, thats Rex's arrogance and his fault)

i do believe that he (other than Leonhard) is the most reliable punt returner in terms of not coughing the ball up, i'd rather see Holmes out there since he has the ability to take it to the house, but in terms of playing it safe, Cotch is the man for PR.

hopefully Cotch can make me believe in him again and start making some big catches.

We has a player named Cotcherty??

I agree that our receiver corp as a whole is under-performing and not making the plays they are capable of, in these situations the finger ultimately points at the WR coach.

    Who the hell is Cotcherty?

I do know of a Jerricho Cotchery. I hope he retires a New York Jet.

Anybody find it weird that Braylon is catching everything and everyone else is dropping passes like they are hot potatoes?

I really think Braylon sold his soul to the devil and the devil in return decided to fuck the rest of the Jets Wr's..........

As long as they catch everything thrown at them in the playoffs, I could care less.

But yeah, you're right, it's fucking weird.

Here, let me correct this sentence for you.

Damn, sorry for the huge, freakin' spelling mistake. It's not like the T and Y are right next to each other on the keyboard. Oh wait, they are.

Sanchez apparently doesent feel like passing the ball to Edwards, who has been our most consistent WR and catches almost every football thrown to him this season

Perhaps the other teams know Edwards has been the most consistent and perhaps he is getting double covered or Sanchez isn't getting the time to allow Edwards to get open completely.

No it must be Sanchez's fault...
