Got beat on a great play by the Chicago Defense. Bad wing, made a ton of really good throws today. He was good enough to win against a "ferocious" Chicago D on the road. .... wonder what Bart the big mouth Gutter Rat Scott had to say after this game. Couldn't stop anyone. Revis, Cromartie... whatever. Give me a new defense next year. Sanchez is a player and there's enough there to make this work. The D is a paper lion.
Sanchez was great today. Two weeks in a row he's played really well against two really tough defenses.
Sanchez played AWESOME today even with the INT at the end of the game. In that situation you have to take chances
even the commemtator remarked that it was a big time throw, good ball just a play made by the safety over the top at the end of the game. I'll roll with mark sanchez. is he perfect? no. Is he enough to win any given week in this league? Absolutely.
The first half he was absolutely spectacular. I really wish on first down we would Play-action roll him out some more. Do we always run the ball on first down?
Yeah, in Sanchez's defense, he missed the safety on that last play. Holmes looked open for 6. I liked the aggressiveness. Like I have said since Week 1 in Houston, he will be great one day. Keeps getting better.
Back on topic....... Sanchez played well but for teh 2nd straight week Schotty had a good game plan as well.
Very pleased with Sanchez today. The "not-a-cold-weather-quarterback" shit always bothers me. No shit he isn't a cold weather quarterback. He was raised his in California. He played his college ball in California. It's warm there. Here's the thing: it takes a little while to adjust to the cold. Think about the 'Bama boy, Mr. Namath. Or the Kentucky product, Phil Simms. Or the ultimate "cold weather quarterback," Brett Favre, from Mississippi. None of these guys got to New York or Green Bay respectively and instantly laid claim to December football. It takes time.
I'm really happy with the way Sanchez played today. He has the talent to be a top quarterback in this league, all he really needs is to be properly coached...
He should have had another td pass too, Keller dropped it. And y the he'll r people talking about the defense in this thread?
I thought Nacho played great today. He started so well I forgot about the shoulder hurting him for a while.
the QB did play well and most throws came a little easier than they usually do....... my point is that for the better part of the last 2 years sanchez makes the standard NFL throw look like a nail biter. today he was smooth and looked fluid thruout his delivery. the jets are gonna really have to decide of they want to continue to ground and pound or run a pass happy offense. if surrounded by proper personnel, sanchez can succeed throwing the ball 40+ times a game. jil
Sanchez looked great out there today, for sure. Initial reaction of the game ending interception, I was not mad as I would normally be.
Sanchez played amazing. Suck it down haters. Yea last minute interception, but it shouldn't have come down to that.
