I'd rather have brad smith at qb than Brunell. But def prefer Kellen over Brad 100%. I just don't understand how Brunell can be the #2 QB.
OK so Brad Smith's one pass on a two point conversion this year holds more weight than Mark Brunells 4500 career pass attempts? C'mon man. Brad Smith knows the Seminole package. He probably doesn't even know the rest of the offense from a QB's perspective.
maybe Brunell can run the Seminole while B.Smith takes the snaps at QB. *stabs myself in the eye with a fork*
All the backup will do is handoff anyway, maybe attempt a pass every 5 running plays. The coaches don't have any confidence in anyone behind Sanchize to run the offense...
Good point but Brunell is 41 years old and looked slow in preseason. Maybe I'm giving the Bears Defense too much credit but their pass rush and Mark Brunell seems to me like a recipe for disaster
I agree that Brunell is a recipe for disaster, unfortunately he's probably our best option. We'll probably see a lot more Seminole this week.
do you think we'll see a pass out of Brad in the seminole this weekend? would love to see the bears bite on a run and get burned with a td pass.
Well if Sanchez doesn't play our defense needs to be aggressive. Cutler's a turnover machine and our D needs to expose that.
Firstly, not only has Sanchez not been ruled out, but i guarantee that he plays sunday. Secondly, If Sanchez did not start Mark Brunell would and I could see Brad Smith getting INCREASed snaps, but not anything close to be considered a "QB" for the game.
It's a pretty fair assumption, Brunell has lost a lot according to preseason, and KC wasn't given the full reins to the offense last year, do you honestly think anything has changed?
You've really brought a lot if insight to this thread. I don't understand why you're not working for an NFL team I mean you're a football genius!
