just wanted to blow off some steam....I hate these damn polls in the off-season and the pre-season. How many polls picked the Steelers last year or the Seahawks? If I remember The Jets were a-top many polls to go the the AFC title game? SO, my point is, dont sweat the polls and start making excuses for the season, plain and simple----we stay healthy we have a good shot at the AFC east. Health and depth is the biggest problem facing teams in the salary cap era. IMO that why the Teague injury and any other injury sets this team back. The steelers didnt win because they were the best team on paper, they won because they were the deepest team in the NFL and their line and QB stayed healthy for most of the season.

Actually to be fair I picked the Seahawks and many, many people picked the Steelers. So they aren't exactly worthless.

I agree with you, games are played on the field. The Jets aren't dead before they've played a game, but we need a lot of luck and a lot of people playing above their supposed skill levels to win. Ranking us in the bottom 10 teams in the NFL is not unfair.

It'll only bother you if you let it. The JETS aren't the only team that seemed to be ranked at the bottom most years. You have to look at the fact that there is a reason we are there year after year. We fail to win year after year. Until this team gets it's crap together I would expect us to enter the year ranked towards the bottom. The only times we seemed to have success was when we were ranked low. the years we come in ranked high or as contenders we find way to stink it up. I did dream last night we made it to the AFC Championship game. Probably will happen now.
