The last time New England was given extra time off, they crushed us by 42 points. If anything, you don't want Belicheat with extra time to gameplan. Rusty is not what you'd expect from them with extra time off.
Jets fan in SD here too and the San Diego Chokers are always benifiting from a crap division. I hate the playoff format where division winners get home games. Some NFC west team is gonna really luck out on that this year. The freakin' (5-9) 49ers can actually win their division & host a playoff game. That's ridiculous. Oh ya, SD Chokers suck haha
alot of yall on here make a good point, maybe it IS better to go to KC rather than Indy, Im scared shitless of Indy and Manning more so than any team in the AFC call me crazy. and then after that we gotta man up, go to foxborough, stop being scared of the Pats and beat them in their fuckin building
KC definitely has the tougher remaining schedule. It's not "tough", but the Titans are still fighting and Oakland is surprisingly still in it.
I watched them today... the injuries are really piling up. Collie is likely done for the year and he has been a major weapon for them. Tamne got banged up today too. They brought freaking Dominic Rhodes back their RB situation is so bad and the Jags (along with some questionable calls) beat themselves. The Jaguars played terrible against the run and Del Rio made some dumb calls and Jones-Drew on 2 consecutive plays really screwed up. Of course the two unlikely ST plays that won the game for them.
Lets be realistic. We are playing the Chiefs and then heading to New England. Thats the bottom line. The Ravens will win their next 2 games. So will the Steelers. We are running the same path the Giants did in 07. Go to an average team. (chiefs) Then play the division rival. (Patriots) Then play the cold hard rugged team. (Steelers) I mean imagine if we were to beat the Patriots? I don't think anything could stop us after that...
We need to win out and have baltimore lose 1 game for us to be the 5 seed... This would be our best chance of avoiding NE for a week longer if that is what you are asking.
If we end up winning the super bowl, but somehow avoid playing the Patriots in Foxboro, everyone will call us lucky.
that would certainly be terrible, being lucky and winning the Super Bowl. win the Super Bowl, and nobody should give a rat's ass what they call us.
You can call us the New York Cockbreathes if you're handing me the Lombardi Trophy at the same time. I don’t care what you call us.
I don't consider KC such a slam-dunk. Arrowhead is one of the toughest places to win on the road, especially in the playoffs. I would not mind a shot at redemption against the Colts.
Actually, Jacksonville will be the easiest matchup, followed by Oakland. Don't count out Oakland. Am I the only one clinging to the hope that Buffalo beats NE in a crazy snowstorm and then road-warriors Miami (6-1 on road) beats NE on the final weekend to give us the division title?
I would love to play the San Diego team with all those injuries. Revis and Cro will shut down Floyd and Jackson. They dont have much of a run game. Antonio Gates is hurt. Their D is not all that impressive either.
