I was looking through my closet and I found an old Rhodes jersey.
Instead of throwing it out, I want to switch the last name to McKnight ( both have same number ). What ideas do you guys have on how to switch the last name.

Iron on letters, depending on how easily Rhodes name can be removed.

I'm not positive but I think with a lot of jerseys the name is actually on a piece of green jersey material that is sewn onto the jersey itself. I think you might be able to cut the piece of jersey material off of the jersey leaving a lower untouched layer that you'll be able to put iron on letters on. I could be wrong though. I've wanted to do that for a while but never actually went through with it. Let me know how it goes.

Alright, well the McKnight didnt work out.
Tomorrow I am getting a new jersey.

Some people I have in mind are:

    Harris
    Holmes
    Ferguson
    Mangold

Please give me some suggestions on who to get, and can someone tell me what Harris' contract is because I want to get him but I dont want him to be released anytime soon.

Mangold or Ferguson are the safest as far as contract goes. Harris will probably get an extension but rumor has it, they wont offer it until after the labor deal. Hopefully we sign Holmes but he seems to be the biggest question mark out of the four.

That's Scott Dierking's jersey. Everyone else is just borrowing it.

Harris and Holmes both need to get re-signed so you might want to wait on them (just in case). I've actually got a Harris jersey, myself.

This is why I don't buy players Jerseys until they are on the team for at least 2 terms (contracts) or a good number of years like 6 or more.

Testeverde, Pennington, Chrebet, Martin, Ellis. I'd say its safe for Mangold or Brick cause they will be on the team 8 years before any contract issues.

I wouldn't waste money on a jersey in 2 years.

Nike is making the Jersey's in 2012, so they will already be outdated by then.
