Sanchez performance was great but the OFFENSIVE LINE was the difference.
Mark had time and made good decisions. He does have good size hands to be an all weather qb btw.

    Also no bad drops!!!

He did a nice job running the offense, converting third downs and that fake was amazing.

The wind fucks him up more than anything. Despite the snow and cold, it wasn't that windy. Simply put, his OC put him and the team in a better position to win. Although...that shotgun formation on 3rd-and-3 left something to be desired. At least line up normal and call a play-action pass.

it wasn't really all that cold or windy, which happens to make the cold really bad. what he did today was be a good game manager and let the rest of the offense win the game. this should be the jets game plan from here on out. sanchez is not good enough to carry the team, but can be a good game manager.

they babied played him today so i wouldn't get too high on sanchez over this one victory!

plus, we're over looking this is a injury riddled steeler team, but that is what nfl teams have to deal with this time of the season.

His Receivers caught the football. His blockers blocked and his OC kept him in a comfort zone.

People making up excuses for the steelers b/c of injuries are nuts. The Jets have injuries too. The bottom line is that the Jets played a better game and Sanchez was a big part of that.

This win doesn't make him an all-weather QB. He struggles in the rain/wet conditions/swirly winds (like a lot of other QBs). Today he dealt with the snow/cold well, but there's still a ways to go when it comes to his learning to deal with inclement conditions.

the weather was not that bad today. not bad enough to call sanchez an all weather qb. few fit that mantra, maybe rapelisberger, brady. not enough bad weather games to fit sanchez into that mold.

At this point, everybody and their mother knows we're sending the house if its 3rd-and-10 plus yards, and every time it bites us in the ass. It was nice to see a 3rd down in the 4th quarter where that didn't happen, and Pittsburgh still got yards but didn't convert the 1st. They can't send the house every time.

Big win for Sanchez, in a tough tough place to play, with all the crap going on these past 2 weeks, Shotty called a good game and Sanchez executed, plus I don't remember one pass being dropped today. That makes a huge difference!

sanchez didn't do anything spectacular but he also didn't make any dumb decisions. do you even recall an awful throw from him where you ask WTF is he doing? even when he plays well you see one of those. don't remember any today.

Definitely liked the using a good number of semi-roll outs for Sanchez. He looks more comfortable doing this than standing in the pocket.

Y the F*k does it take shotty 2 embarrassing loses to get back to what works. Should have been done in the 2nd half of the NE game!

Good play by Sanchez today! Still stares down WAY TO many receivers. They had a line man drop back waiting to jump up to block his passes a few times.

Couldn't agree more and he can run the ball. Rolling him out with a short passing game is more effective than having him only drop back.
