    how we clinch

    1) NYJ win + MIA loss or tie + IND loss or tie + KC loss

    2) NYJ win + MIA loss or tie + IND loss or tie + SD loss or tie

    3) NYJ tie + MIA loss + IND loss or tie + SD loss

    The only way we clinch today is with a win and losses (or ties) by MIA, KC and IND.

    The conundrum is this: while we could more easily and more likely and quicker clinch with KC falling out, we do NOT want SD (or Indy) to keep their hopes alive since it is likely we would play 1 of those teams.

    Then the problem is we may (or may not) have the tiebreakers against KC, Indy, or SD depending on how things shake out.

    Ideally, we want to make the playoffs and play either KC or Jacksonville (I'm assuming Balt/Pitt don't collapse further down the seeding chart).

    none of those situations are looking good so far. Looks like kansas is winning. and colts too.. even worse baltimore is beating no

    If the Jets don't win two out of their last three it doesn't look like they will get the help to make it to the playoffs this week and in the last weeks...
