Expect hours of Favre footage on his streak for the next 2 weeks on TV

I dunno i think its pretty impressive, up untill recently. I understand the favre offseason drama is retarded, but up untill recently it had nothing to do with the streak. Was cal ripkens streak stupid, i found that impressive as well.

    i agree.

while the retirement shit was a joke, this was a legit historical record.

as many hits as he's taken over the course of a long ass time, it's amazing he never missed a game until the final season of his career (yes, it is.....his body is breaking down and he's playing on a losing team)

with that said though, fuck favre.

if he actually didn't play with a god damn torn bicep we might have made the playoffs in 08.

That was an amazing record/achievement. Congrats to Brett Favre but I'm glad I don't have to hear about it anymore.

What are all these talking heads going to fill a 24 hour sports news cycle with after this season? Seems like half of all sports programming during football season is based around Favre.

I want to see the giants loose.

They couldn't stop one mobile quarterback wearing a seven jersey what makes them think they can stop another?

    That's an accomplishment worth noting.

    It's already starting.
The ESPN crew are sickening in their praise of Favre.

This is the unofficial end of Brett Favre's career. No way he comes back after this season.

Between Favre's streak ending and LeBron coming to the Garden this week, ESPN will be off the charts unwatchable.

I don't know who you are referring to, but that guy would be silly for doing such a thing. Favre started all the playoff games he appeared in, so there is no reason to get mad if someone said the real streak is in the 300s.

Any chance Favre retires at some pt this week since he literally has nothing to play for anymore?

No, Favre makes about a million dollars per game.
He will stay with the team for the next 3 games and the injured shoulder won't "heal" until after the season is over.

I predict that he will come out for one series in the Vikes last game and get a standing ovation. The ESPN gang will be in tears.

cal ripken was a true professional. this guy was a guy who shot himself up every 3 weeks and got addicted to pain killers. he was a glory hound not a true warrior.

he hasnt won ANYTHING SINCE the 1997 SEASON!!!! that is 13 full years of futility and suckiness.

now he can ride off into the sunset with the espn crew cleaning the last bit of ookie cookie off their lips.

i think espn makes me hate people.
