I said it weeks ago, and it looks like its gonna happen. The Steelers? Yep that's a loss. These guys suck.

I wouldn't mind 2 losses. These were more than losses.

If 9-7 is good enough to get into the playoffs, then fine.

Not gonna happen. It will certainly put him on the hot seat going into next year though.

9-7 won't cut it for me. To go from 9-2 to 9-7 is definitely grounds for firing. Can we just get a good football coach for a change, instead of hiring all these wanna-bes?

Rex is too worried about his next joke. He really doesn't need one. He fielded his joke 2 weeks in a row.

Are you sure you want to start this cycle over already? Who is out there that's worth hiring? I'm not defending Rex, I'm asking a serious question - what better option is out there?

No he's not, and to prove his point, he created about a dozen other threads to get his name out there.

A little harsh? Drink some coffee, wake up, and think about what you just said.

The man is 2-2 against Tom Brady and Bill Belechick.

He, as a rookie hc with a rookie qb, took this team to the afc championship game and had us up at the half.

Does he talk too fucking much? Probably. But to say that he hasn't delivered anything is ridiculous.

Who would be a better HC that is available right now? Gruden? Cowher? Schitty? Don't kid yourselves and don't count Rex and the jets out.

9-7 would be a pretty big collapse (if the Jets miss the playoffs at least), but I'm not ready to cut ties with Rex Ryan after two years (although I'd hope he'd stop yapping at least). Definitely grounds for getting rid of Schotty after the season. Hopefully a good draft and Mark Sanchez going into his 3rd season will make for a great season next year... but this one isn't over just yet.

it is very possible that they go 9-7...i don't even think 10-6 with a win over the Bills guarantees them anything.

ryan isn't going anywhere...so get that thought out of your head.

Rex2.0 has alot of room for growth but firing him? I don't think that's the way to go just yet. Now, if Rex4.0 or 5.0 hasn't learned when to challenge, when to call a TO, when to call out his players, when to bench a guy who's underperforming and when to shut up and play the role in the media then yeah, time to let him go. His dad wasn't the best HC either but one helluva DC. Perhaps the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

It's great analysis like this that makes me think of how intelligent the Jets fanbase is.
