First of all, let me start off by saying I meant to come here before the game so I wouldn't come off as a fair weather fan had we actually won. As it turns out, we did. So for those who want to bash me for coming here only after we won, I get it. I've been busy for the past few days and it just slipped my mind. In regards to the game, I really don't know what to say. It was awful conditions and for whatever reason, the Jets recievers couldn't catch even when sanchez put them right on the money. Say what you want, but Holmes dropping that touchdown is unacceptable. Completely different game if he catches that. I also think the Cotchery drop on the slant towards the end was huge. That was a touchdown IMO. I can't remember if it was on the last drive or not, but I believe it was. Cam Wake may be a dark horse for Defensive player of the year. 14 sacks on the season, and just makes big play after big play. The offense by both team was abysmal today, particularly Miami. Henne completed only 5 passes. He often threw it away even when he had open recievers. With that said, the Jets were pretty good all day long at applying pressure. Both defenses came to play, and I honestly expected Miami's defense to blow it at the end. Even as a Jets fan, you have to acknowledge that this new defensive unit under Mike Nolan is pretty impressive. Brandon Fields was outstanding today. It's not often you can say the punter was MVP, but man, Fields was over 50 yards on just about every punt. How many dropped interceptions can Sean Smith have? I truly am shocked we went into New York and beat the Jets. I felt we were outmatched and Henne would really be exposed. At it turns out, the offenses were both terrible, and it just so happened Miami's defense and special teams out played the Jets. With all of that said, it was good talking to you people back in week 3 before the SNF game, and like I said, I meant to stop by earlier this week. Good luck the rest of the way, barring a miracle and the Dolphins somehow make the playoffs and wind up playing the Jets.
Ugly, but huge win for Miami! It's not how you start, but how you finish. I'm sure you Jets fans know all too well by now.
The Dolphins played a good game defensively. They were prepared, it's like they knew what the Jets were calling before the play was run. Spygate II?
Yea it was a good game. We have a lot of work to be done on offense. You guys better hope Phins win out tho.
No team needs a spygate situation here. Its called watching game film from week 1-13, week 14 will be based exactly off of that stuff.
I'm not one of those retards who makes excuses and talks shit when his team loses. I only brag when I have the right to. And 4 out of our last 5 games I've had the right to.
So when your team goes no where in January and we are in the playoffs atleast you will be able to look at how we split our season series?
Cool, so you're the type of retard that show's back up and talks shit when your team wins. Those are the best kind...
Both teams looked pitiful, I supose Miami looked slightly less pitiful seeing as how they won....We didnt deserve to win but niether did Miami! lol ... We need to seriously tighten the fuck up!
Yea no shit it was a good game, for you guys. Stop with these bullshit, sorry ass fucking threads, yea I know you're trying to be humble, but just fucking stop.
Dude, we've now beaten you 4 out of 5 times. I think it's more of a moral victory for the jets to just get 1 this year, head to head then it is the dolphins. It's starting to get to the point where I expect to beat the Jets when we go up to New Jersey. Besides, there's a lot of season left. We could realistically be tied at 9-6 in two weeks with you playing Pitt and Chicago the next two weeks. And Miami playing two pretty pie teams, since you want to play the prediction game. Imagine starting 9-2 only to finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs? What are you going to look at then? I mean that would even be worse than your 8-3 start behind Brett Favre when you choked down the stretch....
Why would I? I don't come here to talk about the Jets, I come here to talk about the Dolphins. It just so happens the Dolphins and Jets play each other twice a year, and this is the 2nd time... I already specified why I didn't come here before the game. After our loss in the 1st game, I was back here to eat crow.
I was talking about 2010lookinup. All he does is troll. I thought I quoted 2010, if I didn't I meant to.
It wasn't a good game for either team. The team that was the least pitiful won. Maybe the difference was a little karma for that tripping incident.
Outside of Carpeneter who I have never seen miss... I thought the Phins ST was awful? Fields was outstanding and did it in the rain. Might be a top punter in the game... Shame you guys got Nolan....though any DC would be smart enough to put such a mismatch like Cam Wake upon our weak spot, who is Wayne Hunter.
Miami will be lucky to reach the post season. They still have to play the Patriots in New England... in December and they must win out to have a shot at it. The Jets can clinch a play-off spot with two wins, or one win and very little help.
The thing is nobody cares to hear your bragging. If you're going to post here bring something substantial to the table. Logging on to talk shit after a win is no better than logging on to make excuses after a loss. The OP set the example of how a rival fan should post on an opposing forum, try to follow that.
