Let me start off by saying that people love Rex Ryan because he has a mouth on him....not because of any actual accomplishment. The man just knows how to talk and that's about it. The play calls are pathetic. When you come out in the biggest game of the year and lose 45-3 after all the talk and hyper then there is a problem with the coach. What exactly does this Jets team have on it's resume? A trip to the AFC Title game last year? Please....they aren't even a playoff team if the Colts don't pull their starters week 16. They advanced in the playoffs because they faced a Bengals team that was shot and because the Chargers' kicker missed three field goals. This Jets team was 9-2. They are now 9-4. They will be 9-7. Write it down. I've seen this team start 9-4 and miss the playoffs(2000). I've seen them start 8-3 and miss the playoffs(2008). We are seeing it again. I have no doubts.
Rex Ryan's defense was absolutely tremendous today. In every loss but the New England one, the offense was 100% to blame. I can't kill Rex Ryan, but I can kill Schotty.
a lot of IF's in there what happened though? They made the playoffs, they beat the bengals TWICE, especially the 2nd time when everyone felt the bengals were playing "for real". They BEAT the Chargers. Did everyone say these what if's when the Steelers were barely beating teams? SMH. They ARE 9-4...those are the facts, fuck all of that what if garbage. Want to complain, look at how horrible the offense has looked the past two games, that's your only basis...now GTFOH.
I wouldn't say we suck, but we aren't going far in the playoffs even if we some how manage to get in.

funny how his Defense was tremendous but our O sucked? could it have been that the Dolphins D was tremendous and the Dolphins O sucked this is a dolphins team that put up 10 on the browns in the sunshine in miami, they arent exactly a juggernaut on offense
This team has the defense that'll keep them in any game. We have a good shot to beat anybody still, but Schottenheimer lessens our chances greatly. His failure to make proper in-game adjustments is crippling us.

I agree with this entirely. I'd only add that it is really discouraging to see what appears to be a complete and utter lack of a coherent game plan week after week. That doesn't breed a lot of confidence.
Teams adjust. If the Jets victory streak you two are referring to ended following the first Jets/Pats encounter, well... that ain't good. That speaks poorly of Ryan's ability to adjust (as others have adjusted to the jets).
