I gotta stay up for a red eye, so I thought I might put together this list. I'll try to explain the criteria for some of the less common awards but you guys get the idea:

    MVP:
    1)Tom Brady
    2)Peyton Hillis
    3)Michael Vick
    4)Matt Ryan
    5)Phillip Rivers

    Defensive MVP:
    1)Brian Urlacher
    2)James Harrison
    3)Haloti Ngata
    4)Clay Matthews
    5)Cameron Wake

    Offensive Rookie of the Year:
    1)Sam Bradford
    2)Mike Williams, TB
    3)Aaron Hernandez
    4)Rob Gronkowski
    5)LeGarrette Blount

    Defensive Rookie of the Year:
    1)Ndamukong Suh
    2)Devin McCourty
    3)Pat Angerer
    4)Eric Berry
    5)Joe Haden

Comeback Player of the Year: Only from injury. These are exclusively players who were expected to be excellent throughout 2009 but suffered significant injury/ies.
    1)EJ Henderson
    2)Brian Urlacher
    3)Wes Welker
    4)Pisa Tinioisamoa
    5)Kenny Phillips

Comeback Player of the Year: From poor performance in previous seasons. These are exclusively once-great veteran players from whom nobody expected much of anything in 2010.
    1)Michael Vick
    2)Richard Seymour
    3)Terrell Owens
    4)Deion Branch
    5)Ladainian Tomlinson

Breakthrough Player of the Year:No rookies or second year players. These are veteran JAG's who defied all expectations in 2010.
    1)Brandon Lloyd
    2)Peyton Hillis
    3)Jason Babin
    4)Steve Johnson
    5)Mike Tolbert

Fade-out Player of the Year: 2009 hinted at downfall for these once-great veterans. Their lousy performance throughout 2010 proves that they just don't have what it takes anymore.
    1)Brett Favre
    2)Randy Moss
    3)Carson Palmer
    4)Clinton Portis
    5)Steve Smith, Carolina

    Coach of the Year:
    1)Todd Haley
    2)Bill Belichick
    3)Mike Smith
    4)Jack Del Rio
    5)Tom Cable

Dumbass of the Year: No criteria.
    1)Albert Haynesworth
    2)Mike Singletary
    3)Randy Moss
    4)Mike Shanahan
    5)Brandon Marshall

I don't get the Philip Rivers hype though. His team is (6-6), he chokes in the playoffs every year, he is a jerk. He is good, but not great.

    Besides that, sweet list.

Good stuff, although I wouldn't even have Urlacher in the top 5 for defensive MVP. Take out Urlacher and put Trent Cole #1 and I think you've got a pretty solid list there.

    Good summary.

Moss? He has completely fallen off the map. I see they did not target him once last week, not one pass thrown his way. Fisher must be loving that move now.

Believe it or not, Tyson Alualu DT of Jacksonville should be on that Rookie D player of the year list.

I like McFadden as a breakthrough player of the year candidate as well. He's looked like shit until this year.. looks like he might finally have it figured out.
