When I saw it live and then on replay it looked as if Gronkowski pushed him over a player that was laying on the ground and it f'd up James leg. I berated Gronkowski on Twitter and he responded

"That is not true, everything was clean."

Anyone got a video so I can watch it more closely, it looked dirty to me.

Gronk pushed his knee directly into ihedigbo's injured leg as Dig was laying on the ground - a blatantly obvious dirty play by Gronk.

Gronkowski was a ball boy at UB when I worked there. He seems like a decent kid. He has 2 brothers in the NFL, a brother in the AAA baseball and a brother in HS that is supposed to be better than all of them.

When I saw the replay I knew this was coming...

If you get to see it again, watch Gronkowski's eyes. He's not looking down, he's looking down-field. It was unfortunate but it did not appear to be intentional. Keep in mind you saw the replay in slow-motion and you were probably watching the contact, not Gronkowski's eyes.

NFL players don't typically hurt each other intentionally. Even for opponents there's a bit of a brotherhood there, and guys don't want to end other guys' careers no matter what you want to think.

Of course it was intentional. LOL. it doesn't matter where he was looking, what matters is what he was doing. That doesn't mean Gronk is a bad person - it means he went out of his way to hurt Ihedigbo when he was on the ground - thats part of football and it has been part of football forever.

I responded to him again saying:

"You can call it clean but I saw you push your knee into his injured leg when he was on the ground. I only believe what I see."

It sucks because I loved this guy when he was at Arizona and knew he was going to be good, seems like he's been poisoned by Belli-cheat.

it looked like he was kneeling on Digs' knee, while he was down and put more pressure on it so he can get up

I watched the replay several times. It seems to me that a Pats lineman rolled into the back of Gronk's leg which caused him to lose his balance and put a knee into Dig. Definitely not intentional. The guy is a rookie, not a cold hearted veteran.

I do agree that Wilfork clotheslined Keller and looked like he twisted the head off another Jet. Those plays were unsportsman like conduct but not Gronk's.

It's too bad that Dig got hurt. Hopefully it's not too serious.

Wilfork also tried to twist Sanchez's knee.

Wilfork twisting the knee is questionable to me. He knocked down Sanchez and while getting up, he pushed his leg down. I really didn't watch it again but it didn't seem like a twist to me. The other ones were more obvious.

Don Hasselback did it to Joe Kleucko, 2nd game of the 1982 season.
