So he is pissed that the Jets lost and made a bold claim, who cares.

The Pats look like they should win the division and the Jets should take a wild card spot. Both teams will be in the playoffs and I hope they both take care of business so we can see part 3 of this.

Yep, like I said earlier, only other way would be for the Patriots to lose to Chicago and Green Bay, which is unlikely, but would be AWESOME! haha.

I didn't say you were pissed. I was referring to whoever made the post about the AFCCG. Obviously, in a normal state of mind nobody would really guarantee a run to the AFCCG. I assumed he made the claim because he is pissed that the Jets lost.

both teams have tough games - two division and jets get Chi/Pitt while Pats get Chi/GB -- just play the season out and win the games on your schedule.

Make people happy by beating the Dolphins and basically locking in a playoff spot

I think I posted this before but:

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

Much better than guessing at tiebreakers/etc.

The interesting one that I found would be the following.

Set Win % as the Criteria.

Set Pats to Lose in Chicago, Beat Green Bay at home, Lose in Buffalo (Obviously the stretch in this situation but they only won by 8 at home), Beat the Phins at home. Buffalo the misnomer here by far with Brady being 16-1 against them and having nothing to play for, but crazier things have happened. Keeps Pats home streak alive.

Set Jets to Win both home divisionals and Win in Chicago, but lose in Pitt.

We end up getting the #2 seed with the homefield advantage.

Let's take it one game at a time. This team needs to get on track. A loss like this is no surprise the way they've [played over the past month and a half. Shit needs to change now in order for us to make noise in the playoffs, let alone make the playoffs.

NE is going to lose Sunday in Chicago.

They don't have a Chicago playbook, like ours. (When we gave them Woodhead)

Next Monday we have the same record.

They may not loose another game...but they'll lose again.

Pittsburgh and Chicago will be tough for the Jets

Chicago and Green Bay will be tough for the Patriots...

I don't see Buffalo or Miami upsetting either team; so it'll come down to those games. Chicago is an enigma - depends on which team shows; and the Packers are tough... Pittsburgh is playing well...

The only thing I care about is getting into the playoffs, we just need to win any 2 games and we are in. The division would just be a surprise bonus at this point.

The Jets will be a very dangerous team in the playoffs just like last year as long as we can get our secondary in order. I saw miscommunication many times back their, last second adjustments, showing our hand too early, all things a great QB like Brady can feast on.

I'm not crowning the Pats just yet.
Good chance they lose to Chicago or GB.
Especially since GB has a top 3 defense, and and offense that
will exploit their secondary in a way that we couldn't. They actually
    throw the ball downfield.
I don't think any team in this year's NFL is good enough to finish 14-2.

I just posted this in another thread but here it is again-

Our D will come together and Mark got that game out of his system, we ended strong last year too, we're built for this stuff.

Again, last night was a bad game for sure. It's just 1 game, I'm sure after week 9 Pats fans weren't too chipper and they were said to be exposed that game.

The Pats may not survive Chicago and Green Bay intact.... back to back.

Did you see Chicago get after Vick when he was being promoted as invincible? Julius Peppers is a very bad man. Greenbay has a fearsome pass rush too. And they both are battling to win their division, every game is huge to them right now.

I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone, but ...uh.... er.... never mind.

    It's just another scenario...

Even better chance we lose to Chicago and Pitt... from what I've seen of our Jets this year, they fold like a cheap pop tent when the competition is stiff... 1-3 vs teams that are playoff teams says it all for me. We are on the right track, but don't know how to win against the other teams that are used to winning... until they can win more than one of these games every 4 tries, The jets are doomed to be also-ran's.

I love my Jets, and love the Job Rex is doing, but this is STILL the biggest concern this organization has...

JMO, and GOD DO I HOPE I AM WRONG!

EDITED IN... it also seems like the Jets don't know how to prepare for the Big Games

FAR BETTER TO GET THUMPED NOW THAN IN THE PLAYOFFS........

Gives us a chance to get over it and fix it, what could be sweeter than winning at Foxboro in the playoffs?

    Gotta get there first though.

Any other year we would win this division. We are not going to win the division this year, and I hope that is a blessing in disguise.
