For the playoffs, which we are definately making.

All I can say is the difference between the 5 seed and 6 seed is another trip to New England. If we are the 5 seed we have a good chance to avoid them. The Ravens could end up their again if they are the 6 seed.

But for now lets take this as a lesson. This was just a bad game and i'm confident we can rebound from this.

Honestly you never know! I feel confident as well that we will make the playoffs and make a solid run! And teams have bad games. In honesty everyone on our team is to blame! I mean everyone! We sucked sooo hard!! lol. But we have dolphins next!!!!! Can't wait to see us rebound!

Not the worst thing inthe world. I'm not sure why but we are just awfull with extra rest, maybe a wildcard game will actually help us in the long run.

pats have defeated Baltimore we lost to them
we beat the Browns they lost

We would have to beat the steelers, and the bears while the pats would have to lose to either the packers or bears.

Then it would move it on to conf record which we would be tied in...after that i am not sure.

    no.......

conference record is WAY down the totem pole.

if we run the table, and the pats lose to either buffalo or miami...we'd win due to division record.

if they lose to chicago or the packers, and we run the table. then i don't know how the tie breakers would play out but it'd be common opponents.

We don't have a single easy game remaining and you're thinking playoffs????? Either you are delusional or you have not been a Jets fan for very long!

Is that what we're going to try and do now? Avoid the Pats because we know we can't beat them? The Jets killed all enthusiam for the season with this loss. Let's just get it over with now and see what draft picks we wind up with.

    Disgusting... once again.

look the Jets play Miami this week and NE is in Chicago...we could be sitting tied next week at 7pm again. One game is not a trend...the Pats have had the worst defense all season so tonight is a surprise, but that D is still piss poor.

This is way too early for this thread, but hypothetically I think we could beat the Jags or Chiefs handily. It's the Colts or Chargers making a run that I'd be worried about. But still, way too early. Pats could lose in Chicago and vs. GB, Jets could win out and take the division. You never know.

Hypothetically, if the Jets won out (I know, I know), and the Pats went 3-1, so they finished with the same record, what's the next tiebreaker and who would win it?

From most things I have read on this message board, not only will we not be going to either place (because we suck apparently) we were anointed worst team in football. Ever.
