The utter refusal to be what this fanbase is - still worried about the demons that have haunted them in the past.

I will not and can not waiver from being at the forefront of the culture change for the fanbase.

I am the embodiment of Rex Ryan.

Nervous, hell no. Anxious, yes. I want to see how we are going to come out of the gates. Are we going to play a full football game? If we get all 3 pieces moving in the right direction (offense, defense, S. Teams), there is no reason why we won't blow these Patsies out by 14+.

yet the second i call tom brady a crybaby with a terrible hair and a whiny voice im just a stupid jets fan talking bsaseless shit...

hes a pretty boy, plain and simple. cant wait to see him throw a hissy fit later tonight

Nervous. Shitting a brick as the minutes tick by.

My stomach feels like an off balance washing machine with a pair of work boots inside.

Okay, I will admit to being nervous. I want to believe that Ryan has finally changed the whole SOJ thing. Mentally I think he has, but my gut is not so sure.

Even mentally I recognize that change means the Jets can and will win a game like this. and that unless they do, until they do, exactly how much has changed? We all know there's been a great deal of change, but this is the kind of situation where it counts, where it either pays dividends or comes up short.

Then there's the usual corrolaries, the variables like freak plays, bad calls, and realizing the NFL is more on NE's side than anyone. Gotta expect adversity. And then play through it.

But on the plus side, I think it's nervous in a good sense, like when you're about to do something you look forward to and your senses seem suddenly more aware, more tuned in, yeah I hope that's the good kind of nervousness we all will be feeling.

I'm not nervous. I just feel each passing minute, I hate the pats a little bit more.

    Didn't know it was possible.

I'm definitely nervous. Talked to some guys in Boston today, and believe me they're nervous as well. But I just feel like no team of mine can pull of a victory this epic

There have only been 3 teams in the NFL who have made the the postseason more than the Jets since 1998...
    Colts
    Patriots
    Eagles

May have been one other, I just can't think of it.

No other teams in the entire league have made the playoffs more than the Jets since 1998. Rest assured, SOJ is dead.

I have never been this confident going into a big game in my life as a Jets fan. I just feel like this team has barely even scratched the surface of how good they can be, and that a respected rival like the Patriots will finally bring out their best.

I've already been to class, just got home from the gym, going to shower now, and then will relax until game time.

Nervous, yes, but it's being balanced with confidence.

Regular season games don't make me nervous, playoff games do, since there is no second chance.

Im about 50/50 not really sure what to expect, w/o leonard im a bit scared that brady is going to find plenty of holes with gronkowski. We need to match their big plays, Im thinking there is going to be a high amount of big plays 40 plus yards, similar to the 2008 game (cassel vs favre)hopefully the outcome will be the same.
