I think we should be rooting for the steelers because we still have an opportunity to play them but I was just wondering
Jets Tie. Pitt. That order. Pitt winning will knock down Balt a bit more although I would still love the Jets to play them again and avenge their early season loss.
This is my thought, too. We can beat Pittsburgh and get tie-breaker, we need to finish ahead of Baltimore, can't tie them.
Huh. Everyone is pretty much wrong so far. We lost to Baltimore, so in the chance that we are competing for a wild card we do not want to go against them, plus we play Pittsburgh. We want Baltimore to win in a big way, it increases our chances of making the playoffs.
At 9 wins its pretty safe to say we are making the playoffs everyone here is looking for 1st overall seed
pretty much this. we can't get #1 overall seed if we lose tomorrow, and we can't get #1 overall if Baltimore has the same record as us, unless they lose their division... which is another reason we root for Pitt to win. How crazy would it be if all 4 teams (NYJ NE Pitt Balt) ended up with identical records to end the season? that would certainly be something
I root for Rapistberger getting knocked out of bounds with a blow to the end and taking out Flaccos knee in the process.
I think this guy is right. Some team with 11 wins could be shut out of the playoffs in the AFC. We also need to worry about Miami if we lose this week. The following game against them becomes huge if we lose to the cheaters on Monday.
When you're talking about teams who are only going to lose a few games all year, I'd rather see Pittsburgh hang a loss on the Ravens, which we didn't do, then we hang a loss on Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is obviously the correct answer but if we take care of our own business, it won't matter one way or the other.
The odds of an 11-5 team being out of the playoffs have got to be pretty small right now. That would require a 6-5 team winning 5 in a row. SD: Oak, KC, SF, @Cin, @Den (also assumes KC wins 4 of 5) - KC: Den, @SD, @StL, Tenn, Oak Indy: Dal, @Tenn, Jac, @Oak, Tenn Miami: Cle, @NYJ, Buf, Det, @NE
