I need to stop laughing, the fat bitch next to me in seat 8D is going to think I have the whooping cough. See you next week my friend...
Oh no. That's horrible. What exactly happened in the wee hours post Jets-Vikings game insanity? Better yet, don't tell me. Either way, get over here man! Bring some more Scotch with you.
This really sucks for those of us fans who do not live in the tri state area. By sucking I mean the Pats/Bears switch not leaving the Jets game alone. Before the switch most of the country probably would have gotten the Jets game. Now, you can pretty much guarantee that you will get the Pats game instead of the Jets.
For the umpteenth time, the Jets-Steelers game will not be flexed. Reason #1- CBS will protect it. That game will be shown nationally except in the Denver and Oakland regions. Reason #2- NBC will want to keep the Packers-Patriots game.
I like the 4:15pm starts. It allows me to get some sleep first of all. Secondly, I always feel strange boozing up at 8:15am. That feeling usually goes away at approximately 8:30am. The tailgate food always goes faster at the late afternoon game. Like people haven't eaten in a week or something. Just hope for no rain.
What was the reason you gave for why the Bears game may not be flexed? I think you said something about it in another thread but I don't remember which one it was
Just that the Bears apparently said the game will not be moved. That bit of news was released weeks ago. I am unaware of the specifics as to why that game will not be moved.
Well judging by the CBS matchups that week that's the only game really worth protecting (NE @ Buf, Ten @ KC, Bal @ Cle, Ind @ Oak, Hou @ Den, SD @ Cin).
I hope so. I'm flying to Chicago that morning to go to the game with my friend who lives there. If the game is flexed I will have gotten up at 6 am for no reason. Plus Chicago at night would be even more freezing than it will already be during the day.
I love it how here in San Diego all their fair weather fans don't sell out their games. Every blackout I get to see the Jets! Boooooo yaaaah!
