Just got to a sports bar, depending on the mileage you might get the broadcast on the channel 9, UPN, 11, WPIX or whichever they are using.
In you are in the local area, you will get the game on channel 11, if not NFLN or streaming is your only solution. In my area, the cable company (cablevision) doesn't even offer NFLN, gotta love having DirecTV.
come over to my house, i'm in Harwich. but seriously, your grandparents need to have a cable box, not just one of those smaller analog -> digital converter boxes (which, seeing as how they have no internet, might be the case, right?). getting to their house 2 hrs before game time and getting on the phone is not gonna do you any good if there's no cable box (the bigger, grey Motorola box). better check that out before counting on this plan. i'm not even sure if the better watering holes around that would carry the game will be open.
Their house is actually in Harwich haha...that's where I'll be staying. I'm 99% sure that they do have a cable box, so it shouldn't be a problem/
brax on 28 in harwichport has the directv sunday ticket, so they should have nfl network as well. i don't know if they'll be open, though. just in case it doesn't work out for you at your gp's.
I am away as well but have Comcast. As you mentioned Comcast is supplying NFL Netwrok at no additional charge but i didnt think that the game would be broadcast. I thought you needed the dish. Am I wrong?
