Revis can shut down a semi hobbled AJ hopefully, but our LBs and safeties suck at coverage. What do you people think the gameplan will be to stop the short passing game to Foster, and to a lesser extent Owen Daniels?
Our top 5 rush D will handle Foster, and Owen Daniels will only be a problem if he complains about sideline abuse. (He's not playing)
We've actually been pretty stout on rushing defense this year as we're ranked somewhere in the Top 5. He'll get his yards (probably in the 70s) we just need to keep him out of the endzone. Ryan knows this is a finesse offense so we need to interrupt their timing and smack Schaub in the mouth. If we could do that, Foster should be failry simple to contain.
The only that worries me is the rest of our "fans" not being loud enough. Rex has called us out, and we better show up, we expect the team to so we should be accountable to.
Not trying to be killjoy here, but the Texans are not the Pats or Phins. I don't think it will be as loud as Rex would like. Hope I'm wrong though.
I think if Schaub gets knocked out of the game, the fans will smell blood in the water, that could amp the place up.

Agreed. We are 5-0 on the road and 2-2 at home. Thats not right, I want to see our final record at home 6-2.
I expect Braylon and Santonio to take turns raping Kareem Jackson repeatedly on Sunday. As far as Foster goes, the Jets 5th ranked defense says hi.
I stopped worrying about runningbacks about game 3 of last season. Peyton Hillis had me close to worry before the Browns game, but they even stopped him in the second half. They wear these bigger guys down quickly. I think they did the same thing to Peterson.
schaub has been unspectacular this year. very subpar year. I also believe we will hold foster in check so schaub is going to have to put the game on his shoulders which hasnt worked well this year for him.
Top three reasons we have to worry bout playin the Texans=Their season is on the line(one more loss and they are pretty much done),They want revenge from last year, and because they are comin off a devastating loss last week.Oh and because we are the Jets and everyone brings their A game against us.Gonna be another close one.
Whereas I agree Foster has been great this year, he hasn't done great against an elite run D unit. Giants rank 3rd and he got 25 yards against them. Chargers rank 4th in run D and he got 127 yards on 27 carries, but a lot of them came in garbage time. I remember that cause I watched that whole game and paid attention to him since he's on my fantasy team. These two game he ran for 152 yards on 38 carries with a 4.0 YPC. The other seven teams he has faced are ranked 13th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 29thx2. His aggregate yardage against these 6 teams (7 games) are 768 with a 5.73 YPC. So why is he the #1 RB in the NFL? One of the reason is he is the lone RB Houston uses. His backup has 27 carries in 9 games. Other reason is that the Texans have become a run first team. Third and probably the biggest reason is, Foster has played great so far and can catch the ball and burn you. Just to be clear about this situation, Jets are averaging more 20 more yards on the ground than the Texans, but since the Jets split carries, we don't have a 900 yard rusher yet.
