Believe me...I'd love to be wrong on this, and have start pulling out of the bag in 3 weeks.

There's only 3 or 4 guys at that level and you just named 2 of them

Since the bye Mark has attempted 38, 39 and 44 passes, don't need a calculator to figure out 40 passes out of this QB a game is bad news.

But I wasn't talking about passing attempts, I mean actual passing plays.

Schotty is wayyyyyy to cute and runs too many different passing plays. I hope the Jets start to do what most good teams do and run the plays that we do great out of multiple formations. I know we want to get player XYZ involved but that is coming at the cost of having a constant passing attack.

Hopefully we get back to running more plays for Keller and some other things the Jets did great early on.

We were down 2 scores in the 4th quarter of 2 of those games. What did you want us to do, ground and pound our way out of a 2 score hole?

In the Browns game we still ran more than we passed.

Teams have adjusted to what we do on offense. They're playing heavy against the run, keeping more guys in the box and now they're doubling Keller.

I don't like the guy, most of that might be because this is his second year, but I don't like alot of things he does.

Even though the play ended in a touchdown, the pass to Cotch had me pulling my hair out because cotch was open 5 yards into that route, but the QB for what every reason couldn't or wouldn't throw the ball until he was just sitting wide open in the endzone.

You don't think that might have had something to do with the pile of humanity right in front of him? He scrambled outside of the huge pile of guys that are all taller than him and found Cotchery wide open. Yet another case of the Jets not succeeding well enough for the Madden players. Amazing that throughout this year we have had so much bitching about different TD passes. This week he didn't find Cotchery fast enough, Earlier in the year he wasn't throwing pretty enough deep TD passes. I guess there really is always going to be someone who can't be pleased.

    -we're 7-2
-our young franchise QB has clearly made strides from his rookie year
-he's winning in the clutch where past Jets QBs have folded under pressure.
-he's got 2 playoff road wins under his belt
    -he's embraced the leadership role

Oh...but.......you don't like how he makes plays.

    wow.

Wouldn't surprise me to find out that this guy is as much of a Jets fan as scofaveli was a Steelers fan

i guess the FO should cut Sanchez....and perhaps trade our 1st and 2nd round picks in 2011 for Brett Ratliff.

Yeah, as I was typing my response I thought about how big a waste it was. Still continued to type anyway.

I disagree, Dragging and moving Keller makes doubling tightend tough, specially out of Play action.

And the Jets were up with the ball in both of those games, but still threw the ball at a 60/40 clip. More pound please, this is a running team.

How were the Jets ever up against the Packers?

Bottom line, when you're down 2 scores in the 4th quarter you have to pass more. This is fundamental football knowledge you appear to be lacking. Go back and look at the last 2-3 drives from the Packers and Lions (regulation) games and I'll bet that leads you to the exact reason we passed more than ran. It was likely at a 50/50 clip prior to that.

And what do you disagree with? The fact that they're doubling Keller?

Well circle jerk aside, I still don't like him as a QB. 2 playoff wins mean nothing to me because the running game and Defense beat the Bengals/Chargers. MS had as much to do with those wins as one of OLine men. He is the franchise Qb and he is who the Jets will roll with win or lose.

But I still don't like him because he misses to many throws and plays. I don't want him benched for Burnell or Clemens or traded or cut. I do want the offense to run the ball and for this second year QB to be treated like what he is, the weakest link on a super contender.

damn the trolls are coming out of the woodwork today. guess all the other fans are in disbelief and shock that we keep winning these close ones every week.

either way this team is 7-2 and imagine if we actually start clicking on multiple cylinders?? the talent is there and more than likely its eventually going to happen.
    I am a jets fan and I am pleased...unbelievable

so f*ck you you troll bastard mark sanchez is on his way more than just about any young Qb (except bradford if he stays healthy) in the game. his moxy and stoic pocket pressence is phenomenal for a 2nd year 23yr old QB

Pretty sure he was referring to everyone jumping on him. But yeah same point applies here, everyone else used factual information but I guess it's a circle jerk because well... because this guy just doesn't like Sanchez.

He had a 140 QB rating in the cold weather at Cincy....then against San Diego he had a 4th quarter go ahead TD throw on 3rd down on the road in the playoffs as a rookie.

    That means nothing though?

He shattered every rookie playoof QB record there is..

I though we were talking about the last two games. We obviously never lead in a game we were shutout. In the last two weeks though, even though the Jets were up or with in a score the Passing to run clip has been way too high.

1 of things that killed me in the Loins game was that in the second half the Jets pretty much threw on second down everytime. Up in the 3rd quarter out smarting him self,Schotty threw 7 times on second down and ran once. These are the things that in my eyes hurt the team since the bye and put us in these comeback situations.
