so is the front page... it may not matter to regulars of this site, but to a casual random web browser, it will appear as though this site is not maintained regularly.
that was the point i had tried to make - all i got was a bunch of crybabies defending the fact that the most recent update was about our 5th round pick from day 2 of the draft. it was up like that for at least a month!

I totally agree with you. But what are we gonna do about it other than complain? And obviously complaining doesn't work out too well. I think some of the "Higher End" mods should be able to update the frontpage is Petro doesnt have the time.
What's the point of complaining publicly about it though? A guy puts up a free website and forums for the public to enjoy and some people are never satisfied. Petro could put a picture of a huge pile of dog shit on the front page for all I care. You get the most up-to-date news from the forums anyway.
Plus this topic comes up every year. Usually when it gets time that Petro is close to updating his site, he slacks off updating news/rosters because all of it will be updated once the new site comes out.

Its pretty gay that you went and dug that up - regardless, my criticism (i can't speak for this other guy in this thread) was ony meant to be constructive. Simply pointing out that outdated content on the homepage will immediately turn away new users - I am pretty sure the guy running the site gets that. Its the asskissers like you that think they must defend him who trump constructive comments up to be more negative than they are. If you had a house for sale and hadn't mowed the lawn in 2 months I would tell you to "mow your fucking lawn if you want to sell your house," because that would help you sell the house. So I would be looking out for your best interests, even if it was an obnoxious way to say it. See what I'm saying?
who needs new users? All they do is annoy. However, I would like to complain about this air of mine that people are using without my permission.
