http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/21546/accuscore-sees-jets-at-browns-as-50-50 Interesting how quickly two wins can change things around...We still win 31-17
I truly see a Jets blowout this Sunday. No reason the Jets can't score on Cleveland. Also, no reason the Jets can't contain Hillis and force McCoy into turnovers. I say 34-10 Jets.
I've been saying this game will be a fight. Cleveland is playing very well right now and we are wining while putting up some stinkers. Don't look past the Cleveland defense who's 11th in scoring D. The Jets clicking on all cylinders should crush the browns, but we have not seen that Jets team in a few weeks. I expect a low scoring, hard fought, win. 20-10
I still think the Browns will be flying high after beating the Patsies and will lose this game. I think the Jets will be flying low after 1 horrendous game and 1 mediocre game. Jets win 26-13 and sack McCoy in the EZ.
Peyton Hillis takes the first carry of the game 75 yards to the endzone, I'm turning the TV off. I really love that the entire basis for either team winning revolves around ONE player. So if Hillis runs for 75 yards and a TD, they have a 66% chance of winning. What are their chances of winning if he has 3 drops on third down? What if he fumbles? What if Colt McCoy throws 3 picks. What if he completes 40% of his passes. What if We rush for 200 yards. What if we pass for 300 yards. There is so much more to a fucking football game that one teams running back going over 75 fucking yards. If you run your fucking projections for Hillis, then at least run an equivilant projection for the other team. Yes, this will lead to two stupid percentages, but at least it won't be fucking biased. You can't make a valid argument for a team winning or losing based on one runningback going over 75 yards. That is just absurd. I am livid right now.
While I kinda agree, I doubt Mangini lets anyone look past this matchup. I'm sure he wants revenge against the Jets much like he wanted to shove it in Beli'd face.
I don't see this as an easy game for the Jets at all. Cleveland seems to have found themselves a little bit and our Offense has been inconsistent, sloppy and turnover-prone over the last 3 games. Also, Peyton Hillis ran wild on us the last time we faced him. With Mangini and several ex-Jet castoffs, there is definitely some extra motivation for the Browns as well.
I agree Mangina will want it very badly but will his team buy into that? Players on Mangina's teams play for the team, not for him....
I have no idea who will win this game. The only thing I know is that I won't be surprised if we leave with a loss.
I feel good about this game. Hillis wont run on us like Browns fans think he will and our secondary will finally get a couple picks. Cromartie and Pool both get a pick. Lt and Greene score a td and Sanchez has a td and a pick. Jets win 27-9
They seemed well prepaired last week agaisnt his old boss. Players want to win. As much as emotions are riding high for them, they probly are for us after pulling out a OT game. I would expect nothing less than a battle from both teams this weekend.
