Where the hell on God's grren earth are you getting the impression that I. (or any fan) takes exception to a Jets win? Now I'm certain you are more interested in trolling an argument than actually reading what I said in this thread. What are you suggesting we should win all our games like that because it builds character? Fuck that... Get out there and start steamrolling people ffs.
Who cares how games are won in week 9. When it's playoff time, nobody gives a shit. What, this team won't have improved by then? Gimme a break, for all the ballwashing going on with the Giants the one really good team they played annihilated them and had half the fanbase ready to fire their coach. Can we please stop analyzing every game like it's the last of the season.
People don't have to analyze every game like it's the last. Remember all the pessimistic nonsense after week 1. Now, a win isn't good enough, they have to look good doing it.
That I agree with, as long as we come out of the game with a W and no injuries I'm a happy. I like to come on and talk about the game though, I usually look for the positives out of each game though.
Excelent post. I love the fact that we are winning while not playing our best football. I really would like ot see us get things together by the time december rolls around though. The talent is there on both sides of the ball. Its up to the playerrs and coaches to make this work.
Me too, it just seems that this week there's been way too much bloviating about how the Jets almost lost and are a lucky team, and that because they almost lost to the Lions, this makes them less of a contender despite being 6-2 and 4-0 on the road.
