Good grief... every team blows some games during the year. One loss after a bye after a string of wins and suddenly we have to question every little thing? Slow news days for sure.
We have had outrageous fortune? Were those 2 strip picks fortunate for Sanchez's interception numbers?
Thats some great observation. I've never seen a dropped int off of Manning or Brady or any other QB for that matter. Sanchez is the only QB that gets lucky by all the dropped ints, and he has about 20 dropped ints this year. If defenses hold on to them, Sanchez would set and NFL record 50 ints. Sanchez is extremely lucky since no other QB gets lucky. ...If you're reading this Vince Verhei, then suck an elephant dick!
Who is Vince Verhei? Never heard of him... he might be my cousin posting under another name.. Im going to talk to my cousin.
I kinda agree with him >_> Defenders are dropping pick after pick....how many has he thrown right into a defensive tackle's belly?
hold on there is some water to this through the eyes of an observer. sanchez has had 6 or 7 balls that were thrown directly into a defenders hands dropped. i would say 3 of those SHOULD have been caught. however i still have absolutely no confidence he will not fuck up at the most inopportune time.
Well look at me all interested in the Jets. I have not seen much of him, obviously. Therefore I am not really in a position to comment but I do know I have been watching another QB go through the same things. I hopped over and watched a video of Sanchez from locker room interviews yesterday and he certainly said all the right things. He manned up and took the blame for the Green Bay game and I suppose that is a sign of a leader. That said, a lot of guys who can be leaders can't be an elite QB. Don't know if Sanchez is that guy but if nothing else he is 23/24 games into his NFL career and already has experience going all the way to the AFC Championship game. Not a lot of QBs have that this early. So if it were me I might concern myself less with the regular season (as long as they're winning) and wonder more about how he plays when you guys get back to the playoffs this year.
That's all fair, but I think the picks that weren't this past Sunday sort of balance it out. The drops as well.
Every QB has it, not just Sanchez. Its a bullshit argument to slander a QB. And when does Sanchez throw the pick 6 to seal the game? He isn't Brett Favre. You fail again.
We should keep a statistic for almost interceptions just to give the fans/writers an understanding of close some qb are to getting intercepted. Then we should keep another statistic for almost, almost interception. That way we can see which qb in the league are close to almost throwing a pass which could've almost been an interception. ==== This article is just stupid but it's had its intended effect & pissed off some Jets fans.
I can't imagine it would require too much digging to tie this Verhei guy to Miami, or maybe Boston...
Sanchez is judge more harsh then any other QB. Rodgers has thrown 8 Intercpetions yet all you here is how great he is. Its part Jet hate, part NY hate. Screw them all.
