Nope and no. It would be a bad attorney because it makes no sense. The person who gave the number would have to have both knowledge and intent of Favre to sexually harass Jenn. Then, the person would have had to act as an agent of the Jets organization within the scope of their employment. Obviously, giving out personal phone numbers so Favre can scam on cute girls doesn't fall within the Jets policy or employment duties thus he acted outside the scope of his/her employment and the Jets will not be liable. The person who divulged the phone number could be personally responsible for violating Jets policy and at most maybe conspiracy to commit sexual harassment (super duper long shot). The only way you pin sexual harassment violations on the Jets is if the people in power (i.e. coach, general manager, owner) had somehow systematically encouraged sexual harassment. I really doubt that happened. It was probably some low level employee leaking a number to get in good with Favre.
And that folks is why Peter King is not an attorney, but just a second rate hack with a computer and a retarded opinion.
I'm not worried about the Jets taking it hard, I'm more worries about his wife, she must find this news extremely hard to swallow. Most likely, never again in fact.
One of our clients is in Green Bay and they were telling me he was known to be a total dog while he was there. He even supposedly was nailing his wife's sister. So this is probably par for the course for him, except in Green Bay he was a God in NY he is a Goat.
