After so many years of the SOJ it gives me a charge everytime i hear announcers giving love to the jets.

Paraphrasing Tom Jackson in the pregame from last night (and he was saying this in a positive way):
The Jets don't care who you are or what you're doing. They're going to bring it and bully you around the field on offense and defense. (if anyone has the actual quote please post it...)

Every couple of days i come across somebody else giving love to the jets...post your favorite unexpected Jets love in this thread.

They don't have a choice anymore. The Jets are winning and can't be ignored. Only a few other teams in the league have a 4-1 record.

I'm just hoping Pitt & Balt meet up in the first round of the playoffs so they can beat the shit out of each other before the Jets play them. I'm getting more scared of Pitt than any other team. They have been playing really well for a team without their #1 QB.

Although it can be the media hype they are gtting as well...

It's not the media hyping their defense. Their D is scary good.

Just like when they are against the Jets. I still don't care. These guys on average are total jokes.

for the most part i agree... i was impressed with Gruden and Jaws last night though. they seemed a little less full of themselves than most commentators.

Gruden and Jaws IMO are great. I may not always agree with them, but I know they are highly intelligent, informed, expericnced football guys. Why ESPN has less people like this and more Like Matt Millen is besides me. Why the fuck would anyone want to hear a thing he has to say about football, because he has no idea how to run a team.

It was also GREAT last night when Gruden was saying how he was getting annoyed about the delay... and how all delays annoy him.
