I guess we are appreciating him because normally he would fuck up and do something retarded like juggle the catch into a dolphin's receivers hands for a td.
You mean like the DB on Tampa Bay today? Great idea using that defense against the Steelers 9th string QB.. :breakdance:
Good point. If he can turn Drew Coleman into a very serviceable CB, then Kyle Wilson will definitely be a star.
+1. D Coleman went in there completely unblocked. That sack was created via schematics, not by Drew Coleman.
I tip my cap, I used to be scared whenever I saw him on the field as bad things would usually happen in his direction but he has really improved.
Haha so true... the kid nearly had two sacks and had another breakup as well as a great open field tackle on special teams. I never understood the hate (he's a 5th CB afterall) but his level of play has me glad he made the team. Hope he is ok because we will need him next week especially if Revis is unable to go.
We hate him because he slipped in that one game (against the Browns?) 3 years ago and gave up a TD. That being said, I'm happy that he's improving. With Revis very limited, Wilson playing like a UDFA from Nassau Community College, and really no great depth to speak of, we need all the help we can get in the secondary.
He has been by far the second best CB we have behind Cromartie for the past three weeks and seems to be getting better all the time. Even Lowry looked good when he replaced him. All of a sudden the CB group look deeper than ever.
