Do you hate watching the TV commentators and would rather have home radio announcers (like Bob Wischusen), but run into the new problem of having radio being far ahead of the TV broadcast? Well fear no more! Here's a simple way to sync your radio with your TV. 1. Download and install this free program, http://www.daansystems.com/radiodelay/ 2. Find a radio that can receive 1050 ESPN Radio (or whichever station you're using). NOTE: I just downloaded the ESPN Radio app for Android (it's $2.99, gives access to all ESPN radio stations across the country). EDIT: It's 50 seconds behind the radio, won't work. If you have satellite radio, that would probably be a good way to go if you live far away from the city. 3. Take a 3.5mm male to male audio cable. Plug one end into the headphone jack on your radio/phone and the other into your microphone port on your computer. 4. Turn on the radio and turn up the volume to a decent level (max level will probably be distorted). 5. Fire up the program. Let it play over a set of computer speakers. 6. Play around with the delay setting on the program until it matches the TV. It tends to vary. It could be 3 seconds or 10+. So just fiddle with it until it matches perfectly. 7. That's it. Enjoy the game. You can also set this up on your laptop so it'll be more portable.
Well I know a lot of guys do that, so it's something nice to know how to do. Especially come MLB playoff time when you have to hear Joe Buck and Tim McCarver calling every game.
Gus Johnson FTW. Love the fact he's also the knicks commentator too the last couple of years. Dan Dierdorf needs a good punch in the face. Anything fox related is usually awful. CBS is good for the most part, aside from Dierdorf. I've always like Greg Gumbel, Gus johnson, dick enberg and phil simms
I like Gumbel ... especially when the Bears play because he always makes the word "Chicago" sound cool. He puts some kind of "w" effect in it. Chicawgo. idk. Gus Johnson is good too ... he can make a three yard run sound like THE most epic play of all time.
