I personally think that Batch will start the first 4-7 weeks... and then Ben Roethlisberger will either come back with 2 knee braces and will move even less then Drew Bledsoe, or a guy like Collins or Fiedler will take the job from Batch.

The team must like Batch a lot if they were comfortable with him as the backup on a market that had a lot of backup QBs moving around (and as listed, Collins and Fiedler are still out there).

The Steelers are probably pissed that this didn't happen a week ago or they would have definitely asked about Steve McNair.

I honestly think Big Ben. I just have a feeling that he will be playing this season.

i don't think he's overrated at all. he doesn't put up big numbers but he makes big plays in pressure situations. i see him play a lot on sunday ticket and I'd take him in a second.

BUT, we do get NFL-Network games?

I voted for Tommy Maddox because he is no longer on the team. Someone needed to do better research. What kind of poll is this?! Why wouldn't Big Ben start the majority? He'll be fine. It's Palmer who could be in trouble.

I think Direct TV has the exclusive rights to Sunday Ticket - which is the greatest invention ever BTW.

I don't see how you can call him overrated - yeah he has a great team around him but what did his predecessor do? The guy keeps making plays to help his team win. He doesn't put up numbers, he wins. I'll take the wins thank you.
