FWIW, gaffney has emerged as the #1 WR for Denver and has had a good preseason...after catching 14 passes for 213 yds. in Denver's season finale of '09.

To get a team's top WR late in a draft isn't bad. I doubt he was drafted in the first 10-12 rounds.

Gaffney....like Denver's chances of doing anything this season.....is hot garbage, imo.

I picked him up in the 12th round. Not bad for a #1 WR.

Well, all three of our teams scored more than 120 fantasy points a piece. My optimal lineup would have yielded more than 150 points.

    Take that, haters.

And mine was the only one to lose. Sucks to be 3rd in scoring for the week and play #1.

Because I grabbed Choice late for no reason. Didn't like some of the sleepers available, so now I'm just praying for injuries in the Dallas backfield to clarify things.

Yeah, at leat you know your team is good for an average of 120 points this season. Too bad you're not playing Snowden twice. Heh.

BTW, my so-called horrible team just scored over 220 points (starting lineup and bench combined) despite Eli stinking it up.

    What now?

Can I change my pick to IJR? Backups are really good for a league with that many roster spots.

TommyGreen falls this week, while IJR gets his first victory of the season after facing the points leader week one.

Sitting pretty in 1st place with the most points in the league and a 2-0 record is none other than the fightin' Jetfanmacks! Even with an 0'fer from Aromashadouche this week.

Yeah, I left 110 points on my bench, while my starting lineup only scored 96 points. Stupid Eli.

Hightower, McCoy, and Keller had 25+ point games. Rough.

If only I hadn't sat Best, I'd have scored 150 instead of 120 and would be ahead on points by 20+. Oh well, I'd still be 1-1.

Mack is still sitting pretty as the #1 seed, while Iggy's at 8-4, and I'm in 8th at 6-6. Looking like we'll all make the playoffs, and I'll be playing Mack in the first round. His team has been scoring consistently more than 130 points a game, so his team is clearly better.

We'll see who wins this thing though.

I clinched the #1 seed at 10-2. Right now Iggy is the #2 seed, but he's already preparing for a drop to the #4 seed (he plays me this week).

My 1615 points are 121 more points than the next best competitor (which is Iggy). Tommy is 6-6 but has all but clinched a playoff birth because the 4 teams behind him are all awful.

Of course, 1st place regular season gets no money and no bye week. 2nd straight year I'm the #1 seed. Hopefully I can actually win it this year.

    Here is my team.

    QB: Freeman
    RB: Foster
    RB: Hillis
    RB/WR: SJax
    WR: Maclin
    WR: Calvin
    TE: Cooley

    BENCH:
    Ryan Fitzpatrick (BUF)
    Steve Smith (CAR)
    Mike Goodson (CAR)
    Felix Jones (DAL)
    Johnny Knox (CHI)
    Mike Tolbert (OAK)
    Brian Hartline (MIA)

I put up 161 last week and still left 112 on the bench. I better win this fucking league.

This is what I drafted, for comparison.

    Jetfanmack

    QB: Tony Romo
    RB: Steven Jackson
    RB: Arian Foster
    RB/WR: Jeremy Maclin
    WR: Calvin Johnson
    WR: Steve Smith (Car)
    TE: Chris Cooley
    D/ST: Steelers
    K: David Buehler

    Bench

    Marion Barber (RB)
    Felix Jones (RB)
    Johnny Knox (WR)
    Devin Aromashodu (WR)
    Jason Snelling (RB)
    Tashard Choice (RB)
    Julian Edelman (WR)

Peyton Hillis was a waiver-wire steal. Good job.

And I'm now out of the league. Finished 2nd in scoring, 100 points ahead of the guy who won my division thanks to my bad matchups. His opponent (he finished second on record) scored 80 this week. Mine scored 145. Such is life.

At least I advanced in the TGG league where I had no business making the playoffs.

Well, that sucked. DeSean Jackson and McFadden giving my opponent nearly 80 points together, and he had Aaron Rodgers. Ugh.
