Probably the equipment manager. He usually handles those things.

Sanchez. While it was largely a team effort, and tons of players had spectacular games, give the young QB this one for one of the best games of his career.

Sanchez had the best game of his career so far.

I am giving the game ball to Cro though, he shut down Moss in the second half after Revis went down and had another great pick.

I'm loving this kid on our team.

Hard to disagree with Sanchez, but for me it was LTs spark that got us going initially.

It simply has to be Sanchez.

As great as just about everyone played, gotta give the game ball to Sanchez. He played lights out yesterday, not only from a QB perspective, but a leadership perspective as well. As the season goes on, I expect to see him continue to grow as both a leader and an NFL QB. We got ourselves a winner.

A few of those nominees were giving me big headaches yesterday before we put the game away.

Keller: is he allergic to standing up with the football? Why can't he ever keep his feet? He leaves a lot of YAC unclaimed.
Cro: still much too tentative around the ball-carrier. great job stepping up against moss in the second half, but imo, still not playing like a Jet.
Edwards: he better figure out how to act like he's been there before. he could easily have picked up another taunting penalty after the conversion. stupid ass.

These guys were all HUGE parts of our victory yesterday, and I'm appreciative. But if I'm coaching the team I definitely want to see improvements in these areas.

This Was Truly a team Effort. Its hard to Pick just one player as many of our players had great games. I picked Keller Because not only did he lead our team in receiving yards, he always finds ways to get open. The play that stands out in my mind is the play action pass that had everyone fooled, including me. He runs like a receiver and plays his heart out almost every play. Great Team Effort.

    First the whole team.

If I were going to give a specific entity a game ball though, it wouldn't go to a single player. It would go to the coaching staff.

This team played 4 quarters of football with few mental mistakes and managed to overcome injuries to our best defensive player and our best offensive lineman. A lot of credit goes to the players that filled in for those guys, but a lot more needs to go to the staff that got this team prepared for a very good Patriots team during a short week.

That play was. Really amazing. Everyone in my section stood up thinking that SG was about to break a huge run, and then were pleasantly surprised to see an even bigger passing play instead. Great play all around. It was one of the signiture plays of the game.

Sanchez. If I could award two game balls, the other would go to Keller.

Rex Ryan, but since coaches can't get game balls it's obviously Sanchez

Except that prick once again threw to Cotchery while covered, with Wayne Hunter WIDE OPEN in the end zone...

Gotta get the ball to the big man.

Sanchez played his best game as a Jet in the regular season. He outplayed Brady, and didn't succumb to the pressure.

He gets the game ball. Here's to many more!

All of those guys played well... but when your young QB transforms into the leader of this team there's no contest. Voted Sanchez...
