Keeper League (12 Teams): My Team looks like this: QB: Matt Ryan RB: Ray Rice RB: Mike Turner Flex: Pierre Thomas WR: Roddy White WR: Milke Wallace TE: Jermichael Finley DEF: Vikings K: Mason Crosby BENCH: RB: Ricky Williams WR: Santonio Holmes (SUSP) QB: Big Ben (SUSP) WR: Mike Williams (Sea) TE: Zach Miller WR: Mark Clayton (Waiver pickup) IR: Sidney Rice I'm looking to upgrade my WR corps and the owner im talking to just lost Ryan Grant and his starting TE (Kevin Boss) So im definitely looking to exploit that. I want to offer Ricky Williams, Zach Miller and Mike Wallace for Brandon Marshall. (He can put Grant and Stafford on IR) Do you guys think its a fair trade? or Am I giving way too much for a single player?
I agree. Either way, Marshall is clearly the best player in the deal. If you can get him for some bench guys that'd be the ultimate.
Good trade for you but you are giving up your only depth at RB. Who are you going to pick up on waivers to replace Williams (or do you have another trade up your sleeve?).
The market is really thin at RB K Huggins (handcuff for Caddy) K Smith (handcuff for Javid Best) R Jennings (handcuff for MJD) B Jackson (Starter for GB) - I will prolly not get him thru waivers. I have the 8th slot P Hillis (shares carries with J Harrison) - prolly will miss out on him thru waivers as well I will probably pick up Huggins or trade Holmes for a someone like Brandon Jacobs or Sproles? Maybe Leon? Trade has been offered. He declined Ricky and Miller but wants to sleep on the Ricky, Miller, and Wallace deal. He really loves Wallace's potential especially when Big Ben comes back so I hope he takes it.
A sneaky pick that could work out would be the backup for Jackson in Green Bay. Jackson was riding the bench for a reason and could end up either splitting carries or losing the starting job altogether.
So the Deal didnt happen. He is in love with Marshall. He countered with this. ME: Send Zach Miller, Oak TE from Bench to Cheese Heads Send Mike Williams, Sea WR from Bench to Cheese Heads Send Ricky Williams, Mia RB from Bench to Cheese Heads Send Mark Clayton, StL WR from Bench to Cheese Heads Receive Santana Moss, Was WR from Cheese Heads to Bench Receive Johnny Knox, Chi WR from Cheese Heads to Bench Receive Dustin Keller, NYJ TE from Cheese Heads to Bench Receive Bernard Scott, Cin RB from Cheese Heads to Bench
Miller > Keller - bad for you Williams > Scott - bad for you On paper you get an upgrade at WR but I think you end up overpaying. I would counter Zach Miller and Mike Williams for Keller and S. Moss.
Yeah, sooo there's this owner in one of my leagues...ya know, I offer the asshole Randy Moss and Marques Colston for Michael Vick and he won't budge. Whatadouche...oh, wait...I think he's french. edit: BTW, you're getting F'd in the A on that deal.
is it ppr?? if so then I think the deal makes good sense for you. if not, it still may be kinda risky but Marshall will get alot of targets and opportunities. I believe he had 13 targets last week. but honestly i'd be kinda hesitant to pull the trigger on a 3-for-1 deal in most cases even if it is for a superstar wr (he is playing in a new run-oriented offense with a young qb), but they are all on your bench so no issue there go for it
i really need a qb in my league. have stafford and young. offered devery henderson for mark sanchez got rejected. hes an idiot and offered me dwayne bowe for greg jennings. i countered with something usefull for me, sanchez for crabtree. my wr are jennings, owens, collie, crabtree, henderson. his are smith(giants), bowe, b. lloyd, louis murphy and britt. so i feel i def offered an upgrade with both offers
Same team. But I have Santana Moss & Knox now and no more Ricky, Clayton, MWilliams, and Zach Miller. I managed to pick up Tolbert and D. Thomas (WR Denver) and managed to buy low on Jamaal Charles and dealt both Tolbert and Thomas for him. I know Charles is currently the #2 guy behind Jones but I'm worried about Mike Turner's groin. Should I start Charles over Turner?
