Listen Revis is amazing, but I'm not too sure he will cancel out Moss. It may take him a few games to get into that..especially since Moss KNOWS whats coming this time. Last year I'm sure he looked at the Jets, and Revis and chuckled a bit. This year he even said it.. He knows what Revis can do. Of course I hope Moss is indeed erased from the game.
We don't Talk the Talk DumbAss we walk the walk 2001,2003,2004 Super Bowl. At least Pitt and Indy back up their trash talk. The Jets are a Joke always have been. Abdul Salaam
J Faulk I know that Rex has said he will keep Revis on Moss all day. He is too good of a Defensive coach to just let Cromartie stay with Welker. Why wouldn't Rex mix up his coverages and put Revis on Welker sometimes.
Revis on Moss seems like the right move. Considering how long Brady & Moss have played together, I'm sure they'll be quick to recognize once Revis is on somebody else & take advantage. Not saying Welker isn't a good WR but I'd still consider Moss more dangerous. === As for the thread title, "Rex takes blame ... " I listened to this interview & although Rex states he's responsible, I didn't get the feeling he really sees much wrong with the offense. What's more important than deciding who gets the blame is the offensive game plan heading into the Pats game. Hopefully, there will actually be some downfield passes. They don't have to connect & Jets don't need that many. One long pass which almost completed should be enough to keep the defense honest for a drive or two.
