http://twitter.com/albertbreer Veteran NT Howard Green signs a 2-year deal with the Jets, whom he's spent time with in the past, as Kris Jenkins goes on IR. The 31-year-old Green played in 12 games for Jets last year. He'll back up Pouha, help shore up depth problem. Experience in system vital. Boom. End of Kris Jenkins speculation replacement shit. Where and when did this guy last play? People are happy about this? My guess is it's Pouja job just like last year and this guy can trade in his couch for the bench as a place to sit.
Welcome back. The name is obviously familiar, but I swear I don't remember seeing him on the field last season. Maybe it's because it's 10:38 in the morning and I'm still waking up. -http://twitter.com/albertbreer He's familiar with the system and didn't cost us any draft picks. This should work out in our favor.
I wouldn't call him a "replacement" by any means. He's depth in case Pouha goes down or needs a breather. I wouldn't bank on him for more than a handful of plays per game.
He's 5 pounds heavier and 6 moths older then Jenkins, too bad not the talent that Kris is but those don't come around too often. Nice depth addition now we can just concentrate on the Pats. I do hope we have Pace back soon, against the Phins would be perfect timing. Would love to see Pace slam into Henne's forehead.
The Jets, they play out of NY- Here is his profile, http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=3767
I could have sworn this guy signed with another team way before the preseason began, but I must be nuts (redskins?). I thought it was a bad move, not knowing what kind of shape KJ would be in, and the guy seemed solid in a backup role. I'm glad we got him back though - depth is very important right now.
He went down. Howard Green took his spot on the roster. Is he Jenkins(healthy) ? No, but he did a good job last year as a replacement with Pouha, and another dude I believe. Pitouautiyttiiyitrotua? Don't remember how many games he played last year. I remember seeing his huge fro on the sidelines though.
