Penalties, penalties, not setting a tone. No fucking slant routes all game when that's what made Sanchez look great last January. Where are my fucking slant routes? Cutesy is back. Rex better get militant real fuckin quick. That was an embarrassing display of football. Great job on special teams
The defense on third down was terrible as well. That was one of the worst offensive game plans that I've seen in a long, long time.
Cactus was all over the field. The secondary was shit. The offense was shit. Whatever approach these units took for this game better be abandoned for next week. If the CS cannot admit their mistakes after this game, then we're in for a long season.
I don't know what to say. Shotty is complete shit. There is no excuse. He's in control of the offense, Sanchez didn't fail, he wasn't given the opportunity to succeed. This is all on Shotty. We live or die by Sanchez, we can't mask that no matter how good the running game can be. Put it in his hands to win the game, straight from the beginning, not just the last 2 minutes.
the worst part is....they didn't adjust the offensive game plan in the 2nd half.....typical Brian Schottenheimer B.S. The Jets are all in on this season.....there can't be any fucking around.....we gave this game away.
We have to look at it this way though: Baltimore is one of the elite teams in this league. It's a shame that we have to play another one next week too. The front seven did a hell of a job against a running attack that's usually damn good...everything else on defense needs to be thrown the fuck out.
One of the most pathetic gameplans I have ever seen. The offense? That was a disgrace but I have to say...the defense gameplan of needing your safety to blitz to create pressure is becoming just as annoying. That was horrible. Horrible. Horrible....horrible coaching...horrible gameplan.
Cromartie's penalties killed us..... you couple that with our anemic offense.....and it's a recipe for disaster. Schotty needs to get his head out of his ass before the Jets take the field against the Pats next week.
If they do not beat NE next week (and Lord knows that'll be a day at the beach), it is a full-blown panic. With the TO's, penalties, and embarrassment that is the QB, they will not win more than 5 games no matter how good the D and ST are.
That Greene fumble after the Cromartie pick was a killer too. If we had even converted the FG from there we would have won.
It's easy to feel destroyed after this game, because we all do. Given the penalties and the 3rd down efficiency we had no right to win this game. Greene fumbles in the 2nd when we're at least looking at a 9-0 lead, and Edwards with an unbelievably dumb penalty to keep a Ravens drive going. We had a positive with our rushing defense still looking very stout even with Jenks out of the game. And Weatherford and Folk, ugh, I know the kickers, looked very good too. It's only one game and hopefully the CS, both sides of the ball fix things. They got us to the AFCCG last year, I'm going to give them a couple more weeks, before I start breaking shit. Or putting my fist through a wall. Or...well, you get the point. We're only 0-1. The season's not over, it's just beginning. We can fix this. It's not like we lost this game by 20, although, it felt like more than 1.
