I've only been to one other stadium and that was Ralph Wilson Stadium. Buffalo Fans are the worst I don't know what is maybe the 4 straight Super Bowl losses. Almost got escorted out by security when a bunch of idiots deceided to throw popcorn at me and my uncle. Luckily two buffalo fans who were actually good people said something and we were aloud to stay.
Myself and 2 others may be going. We are planning right now. Looking for seats in the $200 range. Market looks tight. We also plan on heading to Boulder for Buffs game.
I want to go but i do not know any jets fans in the area. Anyone want to go in on a pair of tickets? Also if there are any fans in the area, where are you going to watch the game on monday night?
Well said. Everyone always tries to come up with a combo of scary things to describe the games there, because saying just one thing doesn't describe it. I was there for the playoff game in Jan 2002. My tri-combo was it's like being at a biker bar during a blackout in the midst of a police strike.
I think my sister still has an outstanding warrant in Colorado. Lol She was at jet game at mile high and her husband went to the bathroom. Some dudes started on her while he was gone and he came back to my sister with some dude in a head lock. They got the visiting team treatment and she was arrested. She never back for her court date. I always tell her if our parents leave us money I will have the will executed in Colorado.
If you live in the area you should bring a date (or your wife) to the game. I've noticed most girls, even if they hate football normally, usually enjoy going out and tailgating and watching the game live.
I went to Tampa and I had a great time the Bucs fans were great no problems. We attended a tailgate party thrown by some JETS fan club in Tampa and they even got Woody Johnson to stop by. I took a some Pics with Woody and Earl Christy from the Super Bowl winning team. Earl let me put his SB Ring on and take a picture with it. So I would look for a local fan club and see if they have anything going on
I'll be there...I married into a Denver Bronco family. I have managed to convert my mother-in-law which has not made my father-in-law too happy. We are all going to the game together and I know about 10 other folks going (mostly Bronco fans). We are not sure if we'll tailgate or head to Brooklyn's which is on the south side of the stadium. They have a tailgate-type thing going on outside and you can watch all the early games before heading into the stadium. I've been to Invesco about 6 times and there shouldn't be any problem going as an opposing fan. Of course, every fan base has a decent percentage of jackasses and I am assuming that you are not one. Overall Invesco is a terrific stadium...I'd recommend parking a little further out and walking to make leaving the area easier after the game.
I wish I'd known other Ganggreen members would be showing up, I passed on the companies 4 season seats for the game. Maybe if there still available I'll go. We usually park as far south as the light rail runs and take it in to the stadium since we live in Colorado Springs.
I'll be there with my girlfriend. Flying in from Austin, TX. We're in our early twenties and ready to party with any other JETS fans who will be there.
That is a great idea thank you of the tip. My brother in-law is a Broncos fan and we are looking for something to do before the game. Brooklyn's sound like a place to have a good time, drink some beers and watch the patriots get before seeing a Jets victory.
