I'm not doubting the writer, but could this really be true? Going back to Pennington except in the case of injury would be such a gigantic step backwards - certainly no one thinks that he can lead them to the Super Bowl, and barring that what possible reason is there to give him extensive playing time?
As great as Parcells is his one glaring weakness has been evaluating QB's... If it was any other position I'd be more alarmed
nah its an even numbered year, so Chad is good for 10 wins and a one and done playoff appearance.
Can someone let me know if Rosenthal is credible unlike Florio? It is a PFT article.... I'm actually defending the Fins, but I hope that Mike Lombardi's "the Fins execution is the best in the NFL" bullshit can be proved wrong. It'll make me so happy.
How will Sean Smith and Vontae Davis become the best CB tandem in the NFL if Smith is playing nickel?!
Chad Henne will hit his NFL QB ceiling this year, or next year. He won't continue to get better. It's just a feeling I have(and it isn't because I hate the Dolphins.) Phins fans can suck Henne's cock all they want, but it's the same shit after Marino. Get the fuck out of Miami ASAP Parcell's. edit: Jake Grove LoLZZ!!
The way the article is written it sounds like that came directly from Parcells. IDK edit: and it was Vic Carucci who said that, not Rosenthal.
First Sean Smith loses his starting job, then Koa Misi loses his starting job, and now Parcells is disappointed in Chad Henne. No wonder Parcells decided to step down. The Dolphins are lucky they're playing the Bills week 1.
Hate to be sticking up for the Dolphins here, but if we heard that Schotty SR. Said that Rex Ryan or Schotty Jr. mentioned that they're disappointed in Sanchez, we'd all be screaming, "Who the fuck does Schotty SR. think he is?! Let's all calm down until we hear it from Rex or Schotty Jr. himself. This is all speculation blah, blah, blah.."
I'm not sure I put much stock in this, but it is a bit funny that a lot of Dolphin fans are saying the Jets are overrated just because Sanchez is so unpredictable, but its really the same thing with their QB situation as well.
The only thing unpredictable is the amount of drops the WRs have. Henne is at 55% in the preseason with 11 dropped passes...if even half of them were caught, he'd be over 65%. This sounds more like a motivational ploy than reality. Obligatory "it's the preseason".
Well which excuse you want to make? The first you stated or the second? Henne caught some flack last year for putting a bit much on the shorter passes, but nothing that was really a huge deal. Hell, Camarillo was the only WR to catch 50+ balls with 0 drops last season. His balls are fine. I think it's a bit of a mix of playing two games in some pretty crappy conditions, and Brandon Marshall having a fair share of drops over his career.
Just saying, it isn't like he's going out and making terrible decisions and horrible throws. There's really nothing to be disappointed about.
