IIRC, Directv is doing a free preview of Sunday Ticket this weekend, so we should be able to watch all the games that aren't already on locally

hmmm. Gus Johnson doing the fins game ... not bad. I like him, but sometimes he does get a teeny too excited.

For example, sunday I'm sure I will hear something like this ...

"Henne has it 1st and 10 out of the shotgun, rolls to the right, tttthhhhrrrrrrooooooowwwwwwwwssss HE'S GOT MARSHALL, WATCH OUT!!!!! MAN WHAT A PLAY by "THEEEEE BEAST" ...

    2nd and 4 coming up"

Interesting that there will be a game on CBS at 1 in New York (Cincy-New England) against the Giants home game because of the US Open final at 4. Normally we wouldn't get that game.

UK Map would be Giants-Panthers early, Niners-Seahawks late. That's it.

    NFL Map- Week 1

Looks like we are getting the Pats/ Bengals game at 1pm in New York even though the Giants are home at 1pm because it was waived. Great news. I would like to know how many TV's and laptops you have for Sunday games. My 1pm game plan is

Pats/Bengals on main 55 inch TV
REd Zone on 26 Inch Bravia
    Giants/Panthers on 26 Inch Panasonic
Sunday Ticket on Laptop ( friend has the ticket)

Can I ask a silly question. Newsday has the game listed as 7PM kickoff. Is that accurate? I thought that MNF would start later than 8PM, so that the shmucks on the left coast can also see the game. Is it 7PM kickoff Britney Spears with Aerosmith opening ceremonies etc or 7PM kickoff?

MNF double-header. The second game starts at 10:15. Kickoff is probably 7:20 or so.

Score one for local Jets fans. Nothing worse than watching a late MNF game and getting up for work @ 5AM.

I'll be watching at a friend's house. All Giants fans. I'll be watching the Pats-Cincy game on my friend's 50 inch plasma upstairs, while the rest of them watch the Giants game from the 100 inch projector.

Good. Pats always get TV priority over the boring ass Giants. Bengals-Pats should actually be the best game of Sunday afternoon IMO.

Also, don't be surprised when the Bills come out and upset Miami. The Dolphins are notorious for sucking it up in the season opener, and the Bills have new life with the beginning of the new season. If CJ Spiller gets into the open field, say good bye, Miami defense. That's my upset special.

    The Ticket

I've got it, so I'm watching whatever game is most interesting. I really hope the bengals beat the pats.

    Ha ha ha!!!

I live in a suburb of cleveland and I just sent it out to a bunch of my friends who are douchebag browns fans.

One of them vehemently claims that the browns have more fans than any other team outside of their market...

Gotta like having the option to watch a division rival get waxed instead of the Giants. Plus I'll have the Red Zone channel through FIOS. :jets:

The Red Zone channel is great. Lets hope they correct what they did last year. Example:

Lets say its 03:45 and the Pats are inside the 20. They go to the game, Pats tie it up. Then the Lions go inside the Rams 20 and its 35-0 Rams and they go with that game while the Pats opponent gets the ball and starts driving, meanwhile, we are still watching the Lions and then they go to the Eagle game that's 21-7 with 2 min. left and they are inside the 20. Meanwhile, no Pats game because they are outside the 20. They did that numerous times last year.

Pats-Bengals followed by Packers-Eagles should be a solid sunday.
